| I am dissapointed . How hard is it to draw once per week and put the numbers up? OR tell us when the mega draw is?. I have to do a monthly scoring system for a football dream team league I dont get paid for it; yet people who are in charge of our website and who get paid for it; how hard is it to put results up. This is poor !

| I probably agree that on balance, information regarding the 1873 scheme - from draws to what the money's been spent on - hasn't been especially forthcoming, which is a shame, as I guess it relies on the goodwill of the people involved.
We did raise this issue at the last ST meeting and James Elston stated that whilst news about the draws was problematic (some members don't access the web or even SMS for example) he would look into some kind of positioning report, to show where the scheme was, how much it had raised and what new systems the club had put in place in terms of youth development as a result.
Hopefully we'll see that statement some time soon.

| It's very disappointing that the results from Sunday 8th jan are not yet available. I am quickly losing faith in this scheme with it's lack of transparency. I have asked about the mega draws previously and no one seems to know. I get the feeling the club is looking at the odds of this happening rather than guaranteeing it. I think that they have simply worked out that the chances are that no one will win the .jackpot each week until the rollover hits £3k then call it a mega draw. We need to know when these draws take place or confidence will be lost like the now defunct trinity line where no monies ever made it to the club and that scheme ran for years. Posting information and the results seems a must to be. If these changes aren't made then I think I'll be stopping my payments. I have just made the payment on 1st jan for the next 3mths so the clocks ticking so to speak.

| I have to agree with most of whats been said here, the communication on this has to be better. As above my quartely payment has just come out so before march i'd like to see an improvement in conveying the draw results, some kind of progress report on how the scheme as a whole has/is benefiting the club and the mega draw to take place, probably the first home game of the season is the best timing for this. I'm sure this would satisfy the vast majority of members. If all remains quiet then i'm sure they'll be a good few direct debits being cancelled before long.

| I think the club has to raise its game on this one, before it dies, and all the potential money to such an important part of the infrastructure of the club.
The big push to get people joined up and the big sell, has diminished and now zero effort looks to be put in, including letting the paying customers know the results, which is pretty fundamental to the whole thing.

| Its the small things as well that make the difference. Things like if you want your membership card you have to go to the shop in person with all your info and pick it up from there. Sorry but in most schemes they would have been sent out with the initial letter, not having them ready is a poor excuse. Make people feel a part of something rather than just being a cash cow. Maybe the progress report could take the form of a quartley newsletter, either electronically or paper to keep updated. Or expand the scheme to one like widnes' where they get exclusive news via text prior to it hitting the press and added incentives in the shop etc. Either way the scheme needs to be made a whole lot more attractive if its going to be a longterm success.

| I think it all needs a re-think, odds are too far against anyone winning on a weekly basis for me to be interested.

That's harsh Al. We have already approached the club about the issue and arrangements are being made to provide further details on the matter.
This is an extremely important aspect for the club and it's something both sides - fans and club - need to understand and appreciate.
Give the club chance to respond before condemning

| All valid points, the club have a lot to do, and to be fair to the fans we have all put up with a second rate offer for a while now, it needs improving.
One thing that was always leveled at the old owner was the clubs lack of communication, one think that is evidently lacking in club 1873 is just that.
All the whistles and bells of the launch have fallen off.
4/10 must try a lot harder.

Just be patient a little bit longer. Things are in motion and hope to be able to announce something shortly.

Yep i'm aware of that.
Thats really missing the point TRB, the damage is already done, you don't shout from the rooftops about the biggest meeting in the clubs history and recieve massive support on the night then not reveal how the money will benefit the next batch of players coming through. All fans want to know is how the money is spent, they want some feedback and to see the good its doing and how that will encourage others to join up.
I know it won't go down well but it needs saying, we all want the same thing but its been a let down imo.
Its not rocket science.

| It's frustrating to watch the life slowly ebb out of this scheme - it could be really good, but it appears they want £2 a week from supporters for nothing - back to the bad old days of Trinity being a charity...
Personally i'm out after the next £3k draw - or in the unlikely event of someone winning this before then (it's hard enough to get three numbers let alone 4).
I'll spend the £100 a year on trinity a different way.

| I'm still trying to figure out what fans want in the way of supporting your club, yes it would be great to hear where the monies are being directed but after all its only been going long one year. You get the chance of a return for help funding the lottery
And as for cancelling your SO and giving it to the club in some other way ie club shop it won't have the same effect as its directed solely at the academy set up which is the foundation of the club.
this ain't going to happen over night and I'm hoping that with all the effort will start to kick in within the next couple of years
As far as I can remember we have had only last weeks late in being put up on the website so I can forgive them once
We have been shouting for the club to do its own lottery for ages so we could help the club and now we are getting complaints, is it that bad that we couldn't spare the cost of a pint once a week

| I think the draw should be done in the week and anounced in wakey express on a Friday morning. a bit coverage of how the 1873 draw is benefiting the club and everyone is happy, let's face we do the draw to benefit the club any self gain is just a bonus. It's better than trailing to the newsagents to do the weekly trinity draw or whatever it was 20+ years ago

That's the risk and it's one that the club probably needs to adress.
It could be solved fairly easily; if Mr Elston or someone else at the club did a weekly blog and included details of the 1873 scheme and how the monies are benefitting the youth set-up, that's issue one solved. If the weekly draw was published on the website, in the WE and on one of those flashing LED boards in the shop window, that's issue two solved.
It's a shame if people are feeling sufficiently disillusioned with it that they want to cancel the SO; there's some good stuff being done with the proceeds (we appointed an education co-ordinator and are now ensuring that youngsters get a more well-rounded support network when they join the club) and it would be sad to lose that for want of a bit more communication with members.

| Got to admit I don't think to look for the numbers, but was really pleased to get a cheque through the post without having to claim it for matching some of the numbers.
My main aim was to support the club, so getting something back (think it might have been £ 20) that I wasn't expecting was a bonus.

Got to agree I would be happy putting two pound in just to support and keep the junior set up, getting some thing back is a bonus, the £2000 wouldn't go a miss, a week in France for the wife and kids
