I know, I can accept losses, I don't know any trinity fan who can't. But what I cannot accept is the lack of passion or direction or players have, and that comes from the coach. He has taken some international and dreamteam standard players and turned them into mediocre shells of themselves.

A bad coach fails to continually develop their players, I'm not sure what you call a coach who has actually sent their players backwards

The time has come, Chester has to go. He is out of ideas that was, Fifita apart and maybe Hampshire, pretty much our strongest team on paper. We play a team who have played 3 games in a little over a week including a mountain of travel and still get out backsides handed to us. We have to start planning for next season now and that involves a change of coach.

And if Carter isn’t willing to make the tough calls and remove his mate then it has to start to be asked, is Carter the right man to be in that role? It needs strong decisive leadership from the top otherwise there is only one way we are going. Over to you Michael.

What makes this capitulation even more hard to swallow is that les cats have played 3 games in 10 days or so and still found the energy ,commitment, effort to sweep us aside .Ive had enough excuses about staff and coaches to last me a lifetime ,surely it’s time for change whilst there are still some fans left mr Carter .

I think that the opposite is true.
I dont want trinity to surrender, ever but, there does come I time to change and we seem to have reached that point.
If there was a change of coach now, the new gut would have chance to look at the squad, look the players in the eye and see who is up to the job and hopefully be in a position to swap a few players in/out as they saw fit at the end of the season.
If things stay as they are, any ne coach would inherit a group of player, with very little chance to change personnel.
We know that relegation isn't an issue this season and we need to be in the best shape possible to hit next season hard.

I would love to see what happened in the 2 changing rooms at HT today.

Most people thought that McNamara was an average coach but, whatever he said at HT had his side on fire straight after the break and our man seemed to wave the white flag and his charges were blown away in the second 40.

I havent checked the numbers but, we've certainly managed plenty of scoreless halves since lockdown.

TBF though DK a lot of us was also hoping for some improvement from the Catalans 58-0 debacle, maybe even a couple of wins here and there. Looking at highlights we played better against Warrington with half a team out.
