We’ve lost one of the best props in Super League.
With the wage bill saved from the likes of Fifita,Johnstone,Miller,Batchelor and Arona I’m hoping Trinity sign a proven pack leader to replace Big Dave like Daniel Alvaro…..

Serious question here, but have you not missed the lesson here?
Dave was found lurking in the NRL reserve grades, desperate for a chance to prove himself and come out from beneath the shadow of his brother.
Daniel Alvaro is an ex NRL regular at the end of his career and one who didn't perform for Toulouse as Dave did for us in his first full season IMO. He's a form player I agree but he's not got the magic of a Dave.
I'm not against signing him but he's not a like for like with Dave. If you want to replace Dave he's nothing like, but not many are. |
