He got quite a bad injury against Hudds, Chester was bemoaning the fact he went into touch early in the tackle count, then went easy on him after he found out he was badly injured

I believe it was his shoulder he injured that put him out for the season. MCL some other abbreviation I think.

Wondered what happened, didn’t think he’d played badly enough to get dropped.

Sad day if we lose BJB been one of our best pound for pound signing he still has a lot to offer. The Kay signing was another daft one by Chester we had Kershaw as back up if needed or stock a centre out there wasting money.

Kershaw got injured and was replaced by Kaye then senior wast draughted in., we had a run of bad luck on that wing TJ then Kersh and then Kaye all got injured one after the other

Kershaw was injured at the time and out for the season at that stage don't let facts get in your way will you!

I think even TJ commented on how his replacement and the replacement for his replacement were injured one after another.

To be fair, wasn't Kay the first signing inbetween the season stopping and starting again? He played the first game back against Wigan, got 2 tries, and it was TJ who got injured in that game, then Kershaw replaced him, then he got inured against Catalans I think?! BJB has been great for us, but personally I wouldn't mind Kay being his 'replacement' if that's what he would be, I thought he did ok until he got injured.

This is all true but some posters just chose to set themselves against certain players for no obvious reason, it makes them feel big.

In my time (15 years) I've only come across one player who I honestly thought to be a total waste of space and still do and that was Hickey. There have been some duffers and slackers but none with so much talent yet so little respect for themselves or the fans or the club.

Other honourable mentions go to Ian Kirke, though he did score 3 tries in his 5 outings. Jon Whittle who managed to play 80 minutes and not make a single tackle. There are others but Hickey is the only one without a single redeeming feature in my book.

So to give people like Kay or any of the 2020 an overly hard time is unfair when everything is considered. That, of course, won't stop certain posters from doing it.

You have to admit though FC, thats a special kind of skill......

As long as he didn't miss any there is nothing wrong with that.

Looks like we are trying to get him signed up for next year.

Lets hope we succeed players like Ben dont grow on trees, He'd be hard to replace fits in well with our back line! players around him know his capabilities.
