We could not wish for a better Chairman than MC but all this good/exceptional/great news and news on the player/signing news has become boring to say the least. Tell us when there is news otherwise don't say anything as I would say that for the most part we are all ardent fans of the club and anyone not would probs not be looking on Twitter/facebook etc for any news

Personally I think Batchelor looks the potentially best young forward we've produced since Ellis - much as I love TJ forwards win games. When you think we have Crowther as well under any other circumstances it would be "exceptional".

However you have to accept that even if you didn't intend to you've scared us to death with the ground and for many that's blighting the future and puts a huge downer on any "good news for the future"

I think sometime we all look at what we really want and that is to support our club going into the future and long term ground security is what everyone looks at when good news is announced. If at this stage this is at a stand still what is the second option?

I know some on here have been following Bradford plight. I would say they are/were a bigger club than us and can't find a chairman to get a working realistic model in place. With low resources and small fan base last year we were the 8th best team in the country. We have junior set up that is developing Super League players. When clubs are unable to find quality half backs we have attracted one that maybe a star this year.

There are more goods than bads under our chairman. No admins and home grown players. We have too many half empty supporters, with the lowest budget when have alway been predicted to go down, but we survive (At times I don't know how we have done it to be honest)

Over the years Ellis going, Westwood going has been met with a resignation and acceptance, nice this appears to be changing, Miller would have been gone like the half back who went to Warrington (Name escapes me) but we kept hold of him.

But in the past you have been able to build a team of Wakefield players playing at other clubs. Now not so much.

17 players who came through the system at Wakefield and could compete in SL would be exceptional news for a club like ours. Just keep praying for that extra news that would make those players never want to leave..

Great news , he is an Exceptional talent no doubt about it . I have to say I am really impressed with Jordan Crowther , superb offload to day that led to a superb try. Runs the ball in hard and is developing into a very capable, exciting player.

To say that young players can be convinced to stay at WT, despite the uncertainty regarding the ground speaks volumes for MC and his team. I will say it again, I cannot in nearly 60 years remember so many potential top grade players signing for the club, in such a short space of time - and I don't think the production line is done yet is it?
Well done MC and whatever happens groundwise I would not attach any blame to him.
