London last year are generally regarded as one of, if not the, worst superleague team in history defensively. After 10 games we have only conceded 27 points less than them at the same stage.

Both have nice roles at other clubs. Why would they give those up to come here?

What if Webster falls on his sword or gets the boot, someone comes in & re-boots the season, cumulating in a middle eight survival – it’s not beyond the realms of possibility.

And that for me is the problem with the new system. We don't deserve to stay up getting spanked all year while waiting for the end of season games.

The RFL should bring in a rule of some sort meaning you have to be competitive all year, something like if a team is 8 or 10 points adrift by the split they are relegated anyway (example I know).

Things have been bad before and I've often felt embarrassed to be a Wakefield fan but this score line coming on the back of the last 3 capitulation sis a new low.

I agree with Vastman (again) the fun has been sucked out of going to games, I feel detatched from the club and my resolve is all but gone.

Have to fully agree with that with just one alteration, its now 5 games on the bounce we have conceded 40 or more which is pathetic for a so-called professional team.

Sadly, many season tickets will not be renewed next season unless there is a major change in effort, mine included.

I was thinking exactly this. Our current performance is definitely not SL standard. If we carry on like this and then manage to stay up (because we've got our "full strength" team back) it will, in my opinion, be a travesty of all that sport is about and would bring the game in to disrepute. Also - fans will not respond positively to the club Being a perennial bottom feeder, always being happy merely to survive and scrape through when it matters. Where's the ambition? The vision for the future?
I have spent the last 45+ years optimistically looking forward to the next season when things would be better and hoping, one day, to get some silverware. I can't see it happening in my lifetime now and I just feel sad for our once great club.

Webster keeps playing the injury crisis card but it's the same for all clubs simply listen or read the post match interviews.

What it boils down to is pride and professionalism we have neither.

Under Agar and now Webster we have played some of the most tedious, brain dead rugby I have ever seen yet they both were handed 3 year contracts with no thought whatsoever.

The moon as more atmosphere than BV on match days, As for promotion can't even be bothered to put the next match on an advertising board.

So the most humiliating result for 20 years although that team had an excuse, just passed off as another bad day. Something needs to happen

I'm not sure if I'm about to make any sense but here goes. I don't believe being stuffed in superleague as you have today equates to automatically losing to Leigh and/or Bradford.

I can see you are hurting at the moment and so your cup is very much half full. And whilst I admit as a Bradford fan I am sitting up and taking notice of your troubles purely because a SL side in trouble helps our cause, I'd still put a fiver on you rather than us in the 8s.

Glen M was much liked at Wakey and the Bulls, and I reckon he'd do ok. He's learning his trade well at Dews.

I never said it could't be retrieved I said Webster whether it's his fault or not will have to go for it to happen.

Whats truly alarming is the growing magnitude of the defeats and that we are now more adrift than I can recall for many seasons of the rest of the clubs.

I know we get a second bite to stay up but surely all our nine lives are spent on that one - tbh we don't deserve another great escape or as you say scrape through - I d actually feel embarrassed if it happened.

There is no reason why this group of players can't be moulded into a good team IMHO - I hate to say it because I'm not a peddler of conspiracy theories but something has gone drastically wrong and the clock is ticking.

It's all very sad.

How many squad members do we have? Why are the players getting injured so easily?

If I read Webster correctly, we are a fully professional club who are unable to train due to injuries. In that sense, the results are foreseeable, but why is it like that? Just bad luck? I'm not sure I'm accepting that.

He has now said forget about the next 13 rounds, we'll sort it out in the middle eight. Well, okay then, I'll do the same and save a lot of money. But by round 24, I might have found something else to do.

A team with a strong worth ethic and pride in their performance can at least put in a decent defensive effort even if the win is beyond them.

The team that took the field today was not an amateur team playing SL opposition in the Challenge Cup!

They could and should at least be hard to break down even if they can't get a fair share of the ball or can't mount any sort of attack.

80 - 0 is unacceptable from a SL side against another SL side!

That's why I think the buck stops with the Coaching and conditioning team
We are not motivated, structured, practiced, drilled in the protocols of a system and we are poorly conditioned.

Irrespective of whether Webster believes the regular season is now pointless and not worth bothering with, you'd think Mr Carter would be telling him behind the scenes to shut the eff up.

For sponsors and you fans who give up your hard earned money and precious time to attend, to be told publicly that there's really no point leaving your house is absurd.

If Webster has actually said that then he is truly out of his depth and thrashing around like a drowning man.

He is now not only presiding over an on field disaster but he is undermining the future income of the club!
