Some people dont see the bigger picture and no nothing about rugby. As people from both Cas and Wakefield have said in the past us being in the same league benefit each other from gate revenues massively.

On topic would think a few more bulls players might be tempted to jump ship now. My head says we should try again with agents. If bulls are to be doomed then we would still be competeting with london for safety so would be best not to wait around. I might be getting ahead of myself but this is just my opinion.

The situation appears dire at Bradford....

“At a meeting with the club’s directors on February 7 they informed the RFL that they needed a further £500,000 of investment or advances of broadcast monies in order to continue to trade.

“We have seen nothing further from the directors to suggest that situation has improved. Indeed their business plan revealed yet another attempt to buy the club with its own money."

No wonder Sammut and Carvell left, they have a living to earn and it looks like the writing is on the wall for the Bulls and players won't be getting paid at some stage again probably! which is sad when you look at where they were with success only 10 years ago.

Say's it all really, feel gutted for decent Bulls fans cos this is not over yet.

Sad to see another club in peril but can't pretend I didn't do a small fist-pump when the deduction was announced. Hope they get sorted financially though.

Anything less would have caused a lot of ill feeling from fans of clubs in similar circumstances.

Given the detail provided in the rebuttal statement from the RFL, it seems perfectly just to levy the full 6 point penalty; they had no viable plan to recover the business, they had made no attempt to cut their cloth, they were trying to buy the club with its own money and they were intending to stiff HMRC to the tune of £170k.

I genuinely feel for the Bradford fans, but the best option for them at present is to start again in the lower leagues and rebuild; if they can find a decent, honest owner, the prospects of coming back are much less bleak under P&R.

Sad times for the game, but the RFL has finally done the right thing.

I'm not sure that they ever came out of it. Earlier references regarding the purchase of the club eg the London marketing guy kept saying that he was going to make an offer to the 'administrator'.

Nope, don't have an account there nor am I a Wakey fan. I do read them for entertainment though.

Their main battle will be staying in business more than avoiding relegation. The players are in a fighting mood now. That might change if they don't get their wages.

OKBulls own the club are in admin but dont hold the players contracts anymore.

Dont know but the players need to be suporterd, they cant just dump them.

It must be Admin who are controlling the club.
