| Quote ="Tricky2309"Quote ="jungle man"What a load of Rubbish. The guy is interested in sport and has a number of sponsorships with Football teams and Cricket Clubs up and down the country. The RFL are more than happy to be associated with PROBIZ (world club challenge) nothing to do with what they do, it's simply down to the fact that he's the main sponsor of CTRLFC. Pathetic really!!!'"
In your opinion its a load of rubbish, but I can assure you it has nothing to do with Probiz being your main sponsor. The term tax efficiency was used in the loosest form, as it would appear to me that they enable suitably wealthy people to avoid paying their dues by exploiting loopholes in the system. Nothing illegal in that I am sure you will say, but in the current economic climate when the vast majority of people are struggling, there is something morally not right about a company who makes its money in this fashion -[u which ultimately means the likes of you and me end up paying more to bridge the shortfall[/u.'"
Pity you wasn't as concerned for the ordinary tax payer when your club went belly up last year, owing hundreds of thousands to HMRC.

| I agree with the cas fans on this. Why people would look to having a go at a company putting money into our game I don't know.
Also I would be careful publicly suggesting that a company is up to no good unless your prepared to back yourself up in court.
Finally there is nothing wrong in being tax efficient within the law. I think you will find all big & small business, churches, politicians, charities, councils etc basically anyone with a little grey matter does it.

Most charities are tax exempt rather than "Tax Efficient" most charities can claim exemption from tax on nearly all forms of income and capital gains if they are applied to charitable purposes.

Yes i am back and cant wait to get going with CAS this season. I look forward to spending valuable time with the players, coaching staff and have been in touch with the likes of Danny Orr and Rangi Chase since the end of season.
Devastating end to the season.
looking forward to new Cas under new leadership. The officials are liking what they see.
May I take this opportunity to thanks some dear friends I made at the club. Was close to Terry and Andy and say to see them move on but we welcome new blood and Ian of course.
YES I AM A CAS FAN! Irrespective of whether i am an investor or not no one can take these rights from me neither will they. I have grown fond of the club.
I can also tell you a national deal has been done whether you will NOW SEE PROBIZ everywhere across the league.
[u:2ww18yy4Except for CAS we are not backing any other club shirts this year ALTHOUGH YOU WILL SEE PROBIZ everywhere this [/u:2ww18yy4[u:2ww18yy4season[/u:2ww18yy4. :2ww18yy4This once again shows that CAS has one of the leading sponsors in sport right now.
:2ww18yy4Unless i own a club i cannot invest significantly as a fan. As many say I am a businessman.
I have offers from Wakefield amongst other clubs and right now whislt I am helping many people in rugby my name, my company's name will only be on the hearts and backs of CAS players IN THE SUPER LEAGUE and fans albeit WE WILL BE SEEN everywhere in a new deal to be announced.
We have invested in about 10 new clubs. Leucester CCC, Sheffield United FC both now have probiz on their shirts and this will grow now. PROBIZ will start to expand after a sigificant period of growth.
I will now work hard with CAS to help the team have a good chance of a year of success. FINGERS CROSSED.
I will be at the games despite my busy schedule...AS A FAN!:2ww18yy4[/i

| Quote ="Sesquipedalian"I'm with you on this one, I've tried to get t the bottom of this business and it's actually very very secretive.
One of the core activities though seems to be very close to time shares in that the Accountancy and FA firms involved are required to invest or are required to advise their clients to invest in overseas property as a way of manipulating TAX legislation. Probiz then takes a 'comission' on the transactions and offers bonuses to those companies who participate.
I wonder if the FSA have yet caught up with this new method of raising commission within their industry? Quite often it takes legislative organisations a while to make rulings on such innovations as was the case a few years back with the 'copyplan' schemes that wrought such havoc within the office equipment industry.
In the meantime opportunistic individuals make a small fortune exploiting the loophole and then disappear when it's eventually closed. Others are left high and dry and have to pick up the pieces of the financial devastation left behind.
Maybe the FSA have already ruled on Probiz activity and found nothing wrong, if so no problem and good luck to all concerned.'"
There was a piece on Newsnight earlier about the government introducing new tax anti-avoidence legislation based on a report they have had comissioned which was sparked by the type of activities encouraged by companies in the field that Probiz operates. For instance it is reported that Vodafone avoided paying £6billion through these loopholes. They have seen that this is a way that big companies and big earners can fill the black hole in the counties finances by paying their fair share and the policies will be active within the lifetime of this government, i.e. the next 2-3 years. I would imagine this will impact on companies like Probiz in a huge way as although they are doing nothing wrong the loopholes they use will close and future streams may not be as lucrative as the current ones. So whilst any outside investment in the game should be welcomed I would proceed with caution and steer clear of any long-term contracts.

Thanks for correcting me on something I never actually stated in the first place. I never mentioned anything about names on shirts. I just said they were involved in sponsorship in various levels with Wigan and Halifax. So if you bothered to read the thread and posts properly, you would see that. Although I suppose as you are Jungle Man you have probably spent too much time spanking your monkey, so the eyesight won't be what it used to be I would imagine.
Let's not forget you turned this into an all about Castleford thing nobody else. The original thread was about the possibility of Probiz sponsoring the Super League, not about Castleford, in fact there was no mention of them until you piped up. People were raising genuine concerns about what exactly Probiz were. Nobody else has even mentioned Castleford except in response to you.
Now you have made a proper Jackass of yourself kindly give somebody else a turn with the Airedale brain cell you don't want to use your whole 2012 quota in the first week. Just so we are clear it's Trinfan71, not trin fan.

Look I don't give a monkey's t*ss what you think (there's your monkey reference). I stated that I felt that this was Cas related rather than Probiz related and I stand by that. I also said that Probiz would not have their name on any other Super League clubs shirts as a sponsor. No where did I said they did not have ties with other clubs. I since then copied and pasted the post from Fiesel stating this himself. You then tried to be smart by posting the link showing their association with Wigan for the 2011 season which was last season (not 5 days, season 2011) next season is 2012.
I am sure you are as bored with this as must as I am, as it's obvious I need to get a piece of paper and a pencil out to explain, but I simply do not have the energy. Whether its Trinfan71, trinfan71, trin fan or the Pope, am I bothered.................

If you don't give a toss why are having such a forum thromby?
What is there to explain I have said nothing about names on shirts. I posted a link showing that Probiz where involved with another super league club nothing more nothing less. You are the one hung up on it saying it across the Castleford shirts.
As it has been said you clearly are bothered, but bothered about what? Nobody mentioned Castleford before your post. The thread was and still is about probiz possibly sponsoring the League. I couldn't give a rats ass what it says on the Castleford shirt. This thread was turned by you and a your it's all about Castleford Crusade.
Oh and just as a pointer most clubs are stating in the media that they are looking forward to this season 2012. So next season will be 2013 try to keep up. Maybe you can ask Feisal to have it printed on the Castleford Shirt or better still on the roof of the stadium at Glasshoughton.
