We can assume from this seasons recruitment that although its shabby in terms of well known names we have money to carry on with the club for the coming season, otherwise what would have been the point of getting new players in, and the day to day running costs will come from ST and gate reciepts plus sponsorship money, so if thats the case then why all of a sudden we are faced with having to come up with having to find this money in a very limited time unless it is to pay off outstanding bills which have not been paid, perhaps you could give us an insight, and I can assure you I am not trolling just confused.

you posed the question what if we do? But you haven't answered the posters question of, what if we don't? So I will ask you, what if we don't?
What concerns me is that all of this has come from a thread from the agm/egm, which to insiders appeared as a cosy chat and the bod offered the shareholders a few scenarios and invited some input.
From that starting point we now a day or so later arrive at 3 weeks until self destruct. For me to invest I have to do so with a fair degree of certainty that I aren't wasting my money, and that we have a future.
I am not getting those vibes, and worse than that I feel like it is being implied that supporters who don't are risking the future of the club, not the idiots who got us here.

No, you would just need to sort amongst the ten how that would work.

At the end of the day people are not being forced to put there money in, but it is our way of helping securing the clubs immediate future and equally a chance to vote a new board in to take the club forward.

I'd say for the man on the street this would be the ideal way to go forward,i'm out of work pretty soon so £1,000's an absolute no no,but £100 isn't so bad.

Spot on fella.......TRB as put a lot of his own time and effort into trying to help this club which is excellent, but he is playing this down too much on here when people need to hear some proper detail about the state of the club and its finances:

Will the club fold without this money?
How much is the current debt of the club?
Do they owe any money to the HMRC and is this due anytime soon?
What will the £500,000 be used for.
Will the club play a game in Super league in 2011 without this £500,000
If no game is played will people get their season ticket money refunded?
Why does it have to be exactly £500,000 before a BOD meeting is triggered.

TRB.....Your meeting about Newmarket is now a side issue, if their is no club you do not need a Stadium, so do you not think that this issue is much more important and needs addressing immediately?

Unfortunately, no such detail has been made available; I did raise the question earlier though that given the 'benefits' of buying the shares include a preferential seat at NM and access to a special bar and events throughout the season, I'm not sure how you'd go about divvying that amongst a syndicate.

And I'd still like to know why this is a new issue of shares, rather than selling the existing shares that were issued previously, of which there are loads unallocated.
