If there are reasons why he left other than maybe the club had got fed up with him, why get involved in a pointless exchange of words about the reasons' he supposedly left for and in doing so portraying yourself as the messenger, that's the reason in case you haven't yet realised why I'm asking you.

This is hardly great man management. How are any players supposed to put the effort in if they know the coach wants to bin them off next year? It didn’t work for Jose at Manchester United, or Conte at Chelsea.

If you think Gwaze or Atidin are even close too Naverette or Tangata then you’ve clearly seen none of them play. Or you’ve just plucked names from a hat. Aydin is barely out of school, Gwaze is closer but neither are anywhere near regular first team.

Naverette has generally been good whilst Tangata has had limited opportunities, be serious.

Because he adds size to small pack giving them ten minutes of crash ball each half, exactly what he did for us.

Watch him, he’s still lazy, barely able to tackle and usually in the wrong place.

Personally I’d have kept him but let’s not pretend he is what he isn’t. Salford get exactly what we got from him, difference is they are a better team overall as we were when PP first signed. There is a pattern.

I am serious - never said that either were regular first team but rather had potential. Worth bearing in mind that neither Navarette or Tangata are regular first team either nor will they ever be.

Please tell me why he should even mention it assuming he does know, wouldn't it have just been simpler to keep quiet in the knowledge that he knows more than the rest than to go making out that he's in the know about a players private business, and to answer your other question, no I don't know if any other poster on here who is close to any player that left would share personal reasons, but what I would say is that if that supposition was a reality, I doubt very much that , that person would have mentioned it in the first place. No not backtracking the original statement was about Pauli being thrown under a bus by the club or Chester whichever you want it to. That is not necessarily the case it's people jumping to conclusions.

Whether you like it or not and whether he performed or not whilst he was with us Chester did throw him under the bus, more than once to the media in his post match interview, he said openly to the media after the Huddersfield game away that he removed him from the field as he was a liability, something that he has done over and over again to other players - Accusing players of jumping out of the way of tackles etc... I don`t know any other coach that does it.

Let’s be fair though he was in the Huddersfield game, don’t think anyone could disagree with that.

I think the point that's trying to be made is that as a coach, Ian Watson wanted to sign him in the first place, seems to use him correctly and values him as part of the team/squad.
If coaches want to criticise players, it has to be behind closed doors and not in the media environment.
