Month loan is ok for McCarthy bit extra for us until Mr Glover gets his papers. Higgins if he is permenant then its a poor signing. If we get 2 good aussie props where would higgins be in the team? Struggling to make the bench so dont see point in that 1.

How on earth is it a poor signing, you never fail to deliver do you.
How do you know we are getting 2 Aussie props.
What makes you think they will be a success, it's not like it's never happened before.
Why would Higgins not be a success and be a first choice, how do you know this.
You never learn, every year we sign these type of player, and every time they serve us well yet every time you bin them before they play a game. Have you ever thought of judging a player after he's played a few games rather than before, that's what most folk do. |

You are right, we don't know how either will do in SL with us so i feel we should wait to pass judgement on players until we have seen them play. |

If Hickey was signing for Salford wouldn't he have been already their by now. Looked on the Reds forum and someone posted that they were getting in December so i am sure they should have been able to secure is services by now unless some red tape is holding the deal.?

Apparently the have switched their attention to Hickey due to Phil Baileys retirement which has released a quota spot.. Bailey only retired the other week |

Am i right in thinking the only article linking hickey to salford was on skysports? Well apart from the wind up on wiki. Id like to think weve agreed something with him months ago otherwise why would he wait so long to join a club when he could sign for whoever he wanted months ago

I have seen Higgins play hes a overweight prop who does 10mins a half .Hickey as played at the highest level. ITs like saying how do you know MAN UNITED WILL BE IN TOP 4 AND WOLVES IN THE BOTTOM HALF NEXT YEAR. Dont talk rubbish. |

Just because Hickey has played in the NRL, it's no given, as you should know , that he's going to come here and tear it up. How many times, have we brought a Aussie over, only for him to not live up to the hype. Wheres as, how many times, have we brought a English player, with something to prove and has turned out to be a great deal. I've got a mate, who watched him play the other day and he said he was the stand out forward and he will be a good addition, to add depth to our small squad . Just because we are buying him doesn't mean that we aren't looking for more quality to fill our overseas places. |
