Neither thornley or bain in squad,bulls look strong and brought a couple of players in intresting that one is a wigan player when there dual with us

On Bulls Facebook they’re not very positive and seem to see Corey Johnson and Brand as a big miss. I know Davies is out too.

Thornley is a big miss. I can honestly see Croft and Olpherts on the right which should be good. Whoever is against Taufua needs to get on him like a rash.

The threat for bulls will be Gaskell, Gill, Taufua imo. Need the forwards to get us on the front foot on home soil. Hope to see sone strong defence from us too.

Hopefully Gaskill and Taufua perform for Bradford as they did us.

The 2 loanees brought in by Bradford are complete novices at this level - one of them couldn't even get a game for Widnes when on dual reg there. Shirt -fillers, albeit with some potential in the future.

Yet lucas green as played sl for warrington and is a very good player

Feels like there are three questions team-wise tonight:
Who plays right centre - Croft, Griffin, or Franco? (If Griffin it would mean playing Vagana at second row and putting a back on the bench, which would seem mad to me. I'd prefer Croft.)
Is Hood fit?
And if so, who gets the bench spot, Doyle or Smith? Very different players, both done well so far. Would prefer to see Smith purely for entertainment's sake.

What are we expecting from Bradford?
I'm not up on their team.
Where is the danger?

The biggest danger is between the Wakefield players ears.

Kevin Appo is a weapon with the ball. I've only seen bits of Mitch Souter at hooker but he seems to have it all - bit of a poor man's Harry Grant. Forwards are solid but nothing to worry about. Their weak spot is their backline.

I would guess that not all of the named squad are fit to play and are just declared to try to confuse the opposition and some of our supporters team selections.

We need to up our game tonight, Lino and Gale should be out to convince us they deserve a shirt.

Assuming they both play, wouldn't be overly surprised if Lawford got the nod over either to be honest.

Davies is suspended. They're also missing Ebon Scurr, who is a dangerous imapct forward off the bench, and Eribe Doro, plus 2 or 3 long-term injured players.

Bradford's backline is average as mentioned and if Gaskell is not on one of his going days they don't have much creativity. They aren't a bad team but seem to have a particular issue with discipline and tend to concede lots of penalties, 6 agains etc. Looking at their squad tonight I would think Wakefield should win fairly comfortably.

I expect a lot of their play to go down the Gaskell, Gill, Taufua channels.

Appo was a player I was hoping we would sign this pre season.

Should be a good game. Time to roll the sleeves up.

Good half, need to clean up the mistakes though, two missed tackles led to the try the other nearly did. We've got this if we we keep concentration and cut out daft errors.
