I'm not getting too excited about making the 8 and I think a win against Saints is perhaps too tough an ask, but it's not unreasonable to hope that we can pick up 2 or 3 wins from the remaining few games of the season.

I'm cautiously optimistic - we're ending the season in fine form and there's a real sense that something is happening down at BV; if nothing else, it will help Mr G flog a few more ST's and should get the moaners off RA's back for a while.

Said the same earlier in the season when we won a few, if we get there it will be very nice and we can give it a good go but it's not the end of the earth if we don't.

I'm just genuinely pleased with how the teams performing, playing some exciting top notch Rugby League. They really do play for each other and look like they're enjoying themselves, which you've got to give Agar a big pat on the back for.

it would be nice to beat saints, however it will be a big ask. i just hope we play with the same spirit and determination we did against leeds/shuds and cas in ALL the remaining games. if we do then the results should come, and if they don't we will at least have done ourselves justice.

Well done boys, great performance (other than the mid 2nd half lul but the 3 try blitz put paid to the game as a contest) - good to see passion in the side and it really meaning something to them. Well done Agar and all concerned.

it was a strange old game, i thought neither side really took control and showed themselves in their best light. both sides are better than they showed last night.

i took a sneaky 11/10 bet on warrington at -4.0 at halftime, as they'd had the lion share of the ball and field position in the first half.

Like many of the games that Eddie & Co talk up, it was a major let down.

I was a bit disappointed with Wire's negative tactics - they seemed intent on roughing up the Saints players and slowing down the ruck, and Mr Silverwood let them get away with murder. Benny Westwood in particular looked out of control - his tackle technique is now straight out of the Sean O'Loughlin book of 'head high shot followed by messy facial.'

Saints were encouragingly poor - Meli had a nightmare, Lomax and Makinson appear to have gone backwards and with the exception of LMS, who is a player I really like, their pack got bullied and dominated.

upthetrin92 - yes you can get match dvd from shop ordered the Leeds one on Saturday as was at work so could not go.If we can get among the saints pack like we have done of late then we stand a great chance and though we dont have a winger who can out jump Meli we should still give him some high ball with a winger following it up in a nano second.They are a good side if you let them be get among them and upset their game plan and they are very ordinary.

Looking at the last 3 matches, we could easily have scored 50 points + against each team if you look at our missed chances and being held over the line. What was it, 3 or 4 times in the first half against Cas alone?

I found Sundays game against Cas quite dull. It was too one sided and not competitive. I enjoy victories when we've had a real test, worked hard and the outcome is in doubt until close to the end. Sunday was not like that. I know Cas have problems with injuries and any other reason they offer. I just hope it is more competitive next time.

I though Saints was a task too far yet they looked very flat, except for about 10 minutes last night. If that Saints team turn up we can get a result. I do fear that they will have a real rollicking and a hunger for a top 4 spot so it will a much sterner contest.

Top 8 is not an impossibility, but unlikely. I think I've more chance of winning the RL fans fantasy competition (well I have really, I'm now fourth

After the trials & tribulations of the past couple of years, three wins on the bounce to us is like winning something.

Coupled to the fact one was against a team that have a hoodoo over us, the second against our historical local rivals & Champions & finally having the bragging rites over Cas for about eight months.
