Really? I was sure we were always told that a certain percentage of storage had to be built first? Also I'd imagine with all the housing around the ground it's not as easy as it sounds to start renovating it. I agree though it's gone a bit quiet.

Not sure what the recent gripe was about the ground but I noticed a definite difference on Friday.
Normally arrive late so crowd already in but was early for London and you could certainly see how the clean up operation and safety work had improved things.
It was a hell of a downpour so I'm not too worried about the flooding.
There were other ways to get out.

My Dad has been going to Belle Vue for 50+ years & its the first time he has seen the small drainage holes in the East stand wall for the pitch flowing out. It was one heck of a 15 minute intense spell of rain! Yet dry as a bone in Flanshaw & Horbury at the same time.

Meetings continue to take place and various parties have work to do. There won't be a Trust meeting until after T'Tour as I think Rodney will have his hands full with that until then.

Assuming it is BV, then this is a significant change resulting in a lot of work needing to be done.

I know that all parties are anxious to have something to present to supporters at the earliest opportunity.

yes finally its arrived all the hard work has paid off, there is more to do but that is more ground work and will be taken care of as when its possible to fit in,

its quite laughable at the how end capacity has come to, its worked using different factors and then multiply by each other to come up with the figure.

so no excuses now to not fill it

Amazing committed effort from all the volunteers who deserve all the praise they're getting and maybe a little bit more public recognition by the club.

there's not been much action of late as I've changed jobs which is taking much of my time and may have to do some site as well, this means working away weeks at a time but we now need to look at the next stage,

right from what I heard today just make me feel that there's an vendetta or agenda, call it what you like against the club, I had a text from Chris the other day about shorten the extended barriers as there are to long

yes mr jobs worth has been down with his tool and measured it, not only that heard that we had a visit from the fire department out of the blue, just usual checks that can to any place of work or public building.

so while we keep getting these knock backs can we lift our game now to meet any demands made on the club,

firstly what we do need is to stop feeling sorry for selves that we haven't had anything to shout about until the last two games and get down and support this club and secondly can we now look to challenge any further problems that is thrown at the club, we could use some faces down here as when these jobs need doing

I wonder if the visit from the Fire Brigade has anything to do with the recent posts about the East stand being locked with people locked in and people also locked out. This would present a fire hazard and with the Bradford fire in mind it makes you wonder if somebody hasn't been mischievous and made a phone call about the health and safety implications of locking the East stand doors

Very nice of the council to begin roadworks on the day that we have a home game.
If it wasn't done maliciously by someone who doesn't like us then it is very poor planning and administration by someone within the council.

A contra flow and traffic lights 20 m from the stadium entrance but did anybody actually see any roadworks taking place or people working at all

They were working as we went into stadium and as we came out.
