Went to a Superbowl party a couple of years ago in a pub in Chester. New England were being battered, it was late, it was full of English people speaking in faux American accents, and due to the one-sided contest we called it a night. By the time we got back to my mate's house, New England had won it with a record-breaking comeback.'"
That's why I'll never leave a Wakefield game early

hr long highlights are the best but it can still be a bore fest, both games last week was entertaining, I even switched team I want to win when it show a coach blowing a whistle while the away team was trying to shout out its plays

| Back when Channel 4 1st showed American Football (early 80's?)I had a deal with a guy at work that he VHS tape the 1st 4 hrs and I would tape the 2nd 4 hrs of Superbowl. It was the only way to get a reasonable quality recording to skip watch through next day.

Suspect we must be in the region of 800 now so 25 per cent of a full house.
Stop dithering get those tickets bought it could be a fantastic start to the new season to see so many of us down there.

Remember those days well. The first one was in 82 and I remember it because my team the Miami Dolphins played against the Redfskins and should have won but lost like they tended to do in that era even though they had a good team. Not realising how long the whole game would take, me and my dad stayed up to watch it all, he was at work early the next day me at school, think it finished around 6 am - safe to say we didn't get any sleep. Funnily enough, it turned into a yearly ritual for us both, staying up all night then going into school/work like a zombie the next day for a fair number of years, until I drifted away from the game.

A good omen I say.
It is funny though because in his team by team predictions for this season on totalRL he said this about London as well as other not so complimentary things "They’ll struggle to win more than a handful of games". Whilst he had us in 7th but said we'll have a good crack at the top 5 and also said " I like the outside backs – the threequarter line is superb. No one can question the forwards either". I know that was written around the beginning of December but I wonder what's changed?

Yeah, he does do that. He's been having a right crack at Hull in the offseason, I thought he might have forgotten about us for a bit. Ateotd this is the dude that had London bottom of the championship last season.

| Apolgies if it's already been mentioned but anyone wanting to park at the ground has to book in advance on the Broncos website. There are no cash payments on the day.

| I know that there's still a few days before the game but, am I right in thinking that London play on a 3G (plastic) pitch, so, hopefully no risk of the game getting called off. That's if it actually snows down there.

| Yep it's a 4g pitch but don't forget if it snows in London a state of national emergency is declared.

| Yes the pitch should be fine.
They do usually have a stats of emergency down there when someone sees a snowflake, but they have had it worse than we have, and the club will have a duty of care to make sure terraces and car parks etc are clear
