Would you go to Wigan if you had a ticket?



I was referring to going to every match before the climate. Before the climate it wasn't quite as dull as it is during the climate.



TBH if I was paid £30 to go yesterday I wouldn't have gone, it's got that boring under Kear.



At the moment I'd rather just spend £20 odd in the club shop and have something to show for it whilst still helping the team out. When I buy b'day presents and such I always try and get something from the club shop. Supporting comes in all forms.

Short memories have wigan fans.

For instance telling the RFL that they had not breached the salary cap when signing Stuart Fielden and then we found out they had gone over the cap by £200k. I even remember some Wigan fans coming on to the Cas board and apologising for what had happened but it wasn't their fault the Wigan board told a blatant lie.

Maybe not their fault,which I accept but at the same time they shouldn't conveniently forget why they stayed in now things are very good for them.

It does mate, just teasing.

As I am only allowed to attend away games I have been looking forward to each and every one but things as they are I feel I will be giving Wigan a miss call me a glory supporter if you like but why should I pay another clubs bills to watch poor performance.

i would expect a win by 3 scores. Wakefield always bring fight to the Wigan fixture. Wigan will have 1 eye on the Wire game and rarely click in games they are expected to win easily. The key for Trinity is to keep it close for the first 20-30 mins. If Wigan do get a taste for blood early doors then it could be a long night. If you can keep it close first half it could be not as bad as some of you are predicting.

Support your team through thick and thin. The Cas fans didn't turn up for the game on Weds and they played well and ran us very close. Whose to say you cant do the same?

Another one here going,even throwing a sicky.you follow a club through thick and thin.As for the annoying wigan girl (I think a girl) why do they call you pie eaters ?check your history,leopards don't change their spots.

Most Wigan fans are decent to be honest, usually a knowledgable bunch who know how to have a laugh without being too big headed. If Leeds fans could take note of how not to be so arrogant (apart from our mate IA of course) then they too could be a great club like Wigan. I'm missing this one due to other commitments but am gutted as I do like to go to every game even when I know a batterings on the cards, be just my luck for us to put in the performance of our season! If so I'll buy the DVD!

I'm going because it's my nearest, although going with a pie-eater and so will be in with the Wigan lot. I can't wait for all their arrogant derision for eighty minutes.

That's not Maguires way. He will play his strongest available team and only rest players if they have genuine injuries.

Indeed. Most Wigan fans seem to be a decent bunch in my experience.

Indeed Wigan is a big club with proper RL fans who know their RL. It maybe that some of there fans remember our great clashes between the 2 clubs in the 60s when we were giants of the game and still have respect between the 2 clubs

There is a streak of arrogance running through some of the Wigan supporter base though, which rankles a bit - I'm guessing that much like Wires new army of pothunters, these people do not appreciate the hisory of the game and are largely unaware of the precarious positions their own clubs were once in, hence they have no humility in their opinions of or dealings with 'lesser' clubs.

We are all Superleague clubs so all equals IMO. Not nessesary to disrespect any club . We have all been through hard time at some stage .

to claim that all clubs are equals in superleague is one of the funniest and most tragic things i’ve read in ages. some clubs are guaranteed franchises, some have to fight for the smallest morsel of respect and fairness from the governing body.

Do you think that the RFL will judge us all equally and if so which club(s) will not get a franchise after being judged fairly in your opinion?

I was talking about fans of one club disrespecting another fans club not being nessesary . How the RFL works and its treatment of individual clubs is a wonderment to most if not all of us .

I for one remember the great Trinity side of the 60s.

It's a real pity for RL that your club is where it is. Your know where the problems come from etc and are best to comment. For those of us who do remember Fox, Poynton, etc then its just such a shame.

Wigan are a big club and a great club but Wakefield Trinity is still one of iconic names in British sport.
Ask anyone interested in sport "In which sport do Wakefield Trinity play?". They will know it's RL.

We were going down the pan under Whelan and since Ian Lenagan has bought the club he's turned it around both on and off the field.
I hope Glover can do the same for you all at Trinity.
