I've seen an article today where Leigh have smashed the 3500 season tickets sold. Beaumont is talking an A grade next time round.

Just extending the kids and students concession a bit longer. Legally, nothing to see, and quite smart business. They’re the shirt buying demographic and get them hooked when they have young kids

Well I do concede to your knowledge on this.

My thoughts on it being different is that concessions usually apply to a group legally or at least generally understood to be different. Ie. Children or OAP.
Students are an extension of this as they are similar that the don't have a full time job.

I guess it's how it was written. If they'd said 'discount for under 30' I probably wouldn't have picked up on it.

Does anyone know if season tickets will be available to collect pre Christmas ?

This is the most ever by the club in recent history and is testament to Dereks drive and last years squad/performances.

Derek in his recent interview stated he is confident Leigh will be a Grade A by 2025 and we are just awaiting clearance on a Visa for Tristan Sailor from Brisbane.

Brilliant, onwards & upwards, soon there won't be much room for pay on the day & visiting fans, latterly those from well supported clubs !

What a shame the clubs been stagnant for so long resulting in no intrest and no hope.
One things for sure it puts an end to the few negative contributors who said the wakey public not interested.

Also proved what I said last year that I expect fans to return and our attendances and crowds to be easily above 3000 and possibly better than SL despite some saying we would struggle.

The freshness of facing new teams we haven’t played in years and the expectation of a high finish and high win percentage is a big draw and chance to galvanise and welcome back supporters.

Might be a silly question, but does anyone know if the club have held back a % of tickets in the North Terrace for match sales?

(Football clubs often have a max threshold for season tickets, so at least some tickets are available on a match-by-match basis.)

Very true but, speaking as someone who's given constant support and interest to Trinity home and away through thick and thin for God knows how long, I do find these absent "people" somewhat fickle and pathetic. For the future of the club though I guess it's nice to see them all crawling back out of the woodwork.
Lets hope a successful start to 2024 can keep them interested.

I thought I’d read somewhere that they were trying to increase it for this season. Might have dreamt that but it is possible.

Yes of course but we are talking about changes to increase the capacity which would be much more time consuming as your looking at the structure and potential modifications.

The refreshments will be for 2024 but I think the capacity was said next season and I took that to mean 2025.

Good to see the club sending out an email asking for details of junior ticket holders.

Provides people with an opportunity to think twice if they need the 2 freebies for the juniors and may open up more space for paying customers in the more popular areas of the ground.

I don’t really get the “owt for nowt” mentality and I am guessing that some people will “return” the junior tickets they don’t necessarily need given the ongoing news of the uptake and the situation with the North Stand in particular.

You'd hope so.

The junior season ticket was always a risky proposition and has possibly backfired a little. Maybe should have been limited to one per ticket, with additional tickets at say £30 a pop.

Don't think it's a huge issue in the Championship, and it is a one off opportunity to attract a new generation of fans. However should we be back in SL next season, then it will need to be seriously looked at. ME has done us all a favour this season, but if we are to compete in SL then we will need to return it next year.
