| If Poore was to leave then that's Amor, Wilkes and Poore from our starting 4 props in 2013 ( one of our highlights IMO were the forwars). Replacing Wilkes and Amor especially is a task itself without having to replace Poore who goes about his job well.

| i don't think replacing olly is too hard! he has been a great servant to our club twice but he is now better moving to championship! thanks to olly! kyle was outstanding last year which has earn't him a contract elsewhere to a bigger club but thanks to kyle for everything! i don't think justin is in it just for the cash but he is under contract so if he does leave i hope we get a transfer fee..i would like to see him with us next season. as for the the young uns like annakin and trout, they need to know where they are playing next year! trout finished the season at 13 yet started at interchange prop as did annakin..how are they supposed to shape their bodies in the off season knowing that they they are going to be either a stone too heavy or a stone too light? not bothered about washbrook leaving..he can tackle but has no skill and the last few games with kaye on the wing was a massive improvement on fox! i was in catalan and they took him to pieces, was embarrassing actually!

| The above has been done to death, I think we are all well aware of the challenges the younger set of players face but the reality is we they may very well have to fill in other positions in 2014. Perhaps they shouldn't have to but here we are.
Kaye was an improvement but he has been offered a contract and its down to the club to and him to nagotiate a deal or he may no longer be an option.
Amor was a big loss, Wilkes I didn't rare at the start and even mid part of last year but the guy really stood up and played pretty well for the large part of the closing stages of last year and still needs replacing.
It will be interesting to see how the squad shapes up for 2014 and I'm looking forward to it. Bring it on.

Must admit he didn't do too well for me also. I also think Rakeigh is going to have to step up next season and take a leaf out of his best mate Eorl Crabtrees book.

| @PeteSmithYEP: Wakefield Trinity Wildcats coach Rich Agar has dismissed the Poore/Aiton to Leeds rumours. Hull KR are interested in Poore. #rugbyleague
That's a new one this end, certainly no murmurings of it at all

Yeah, a possibility. I believe we are looking to move both Lovegrove and Tuimavave out

| Would be disappointed if we lose Poore, we could really do with his size an experience next season and seems like a decent guy. Hasn't exactly set the world alight but has been very solid for us and rarely takes a step back, just needs to cut out the silly penalties sometimes. Wouldn't be surprised if he left, mind

| Thought Poore said he would stay at Wakey while ever Agar was here. We may need to sell him or he may now wish to leave. If he's leaving does that mean Agar has a new job too? I think I read he had signed a new 3 year contract but was that with new the boss? Bringing in Uncle Kath may have made Agar rethink.

There's no doubt in my mind that Lovegrove is the better player. Yeah Poore might have given Farrell and Bailey some black eyes but thats all he did on top of giving penalties away. If Hull KR offer Lovegrove for Poore I'd snap their hands off.

| If Poore leaves we'd have to bring an other experienced prop forward in, most likely big Richie Moore and he has been terrible!! Lovegrove is good yes but I'd rather keep an experienced prop rather than a back-rower where we are okay at the moment.

I agree completely with this. Lovegrove is an very good forward who gets nowhere near the credit he deserves from what I have seen of him, and seems to be getting better as he gets older.
"Poore blindness", it's up there with "Hendo blindness" as the 2nd worse condition of all among a good percentage of Trinity fans. I hope to God he doesn't bust a tackle in a kick off return in a big game or then we could have a new Champion of Champions....

| I'd rather keep Poore than swap for Lovegrove and I don't even think its a close decision based on performance/ability.
But each to their own

| Why would we consider taking Lovegrove as part of a deal for Poore. He has been released by Hull KR therefore they cannot expect a transfer fee or think if they wanted to sign Poore that we would reduce any fee.
Now we have covered the stupidity of this assumption why do some supporters think that a player released by Hull KR is better than an Australian who played at the top level in the NRL. If he was that good they would keep him.

| Lovegrove is a good solid performer, but he has not really done anything spectacular in the 7 years he has been over here.
Expect Poore to build on last year and show his true worth in his 2nd year.

| Would Lovegrove be a better 13 instead of Washbrook? Lovegrove hasn't been released but told he can go apparently with 2 years left on his contract?
Again it comes down to cash and would Lovegrove take an overseas quota?
If so we still need a 6/7 player which is more pressing in the next few weeks/months if an experienced overseas player comes on the cheap....
Hopefully Kay signs and is given a chance along with Wildie, Trout and Walshaw...
Above all finance is needed.
