I'm sorry that this has taken so much time but I'd like to thank you all for your patience and all that managed to get down to Belle Vue to help with the barrier mods,
in what was a frantic period in some awful weather we have now had all testing done stands and they have held up to the task. we can now only wait for the council to give the go ahead for the increase

Well Im sorry to say mate I cant see me finishing work at turned 5 getting a couple of hours kip and coming down again.If they aint bothered to put effort in why should I even the young'uns getting disheartened and look how much he gets behind the team shouting them on.

You aren't doing it for them though, deep down you know that.

I don't know everyone's names but Snowie, Martin, Nick and many more faces that have given up their hard earned time, I applaud you. Through a period of uncertainty and with many frustrating things happening on the pitch, you have kept delivering. at this present time the club is still awaiting the paper work from the test engineers which will increase it to around 7000 - 7500, very frustrating as testing has been achieved and was successful, this then has to be presented to the council for them to confirm this

So are you saying that unless we build a new stadium the council will never award a safety certificate that allows us to get back to the capacity we had before the current problems

no there is further work that can be done but there is a balance of which is it worth spending thousands of pounds for little return, but the figure before the problems as you put will never be achieved without great expenditure

So when are York Court going to do something instead of using residents in Stanley me myself falling out with friends in methley for nothing as there are just going to be cold stores and factories. As it stands Stanley people have got screwed over and the methley people. I want something in return from York Court. Or are we just going to forget what they have promised us.

Why do you think people from Stanley and Methley have been screwed, as far as I know not many of them wanted this project to happen in the first place so if anything they may be happier now as they only have the traffic through the week from an industrial site that probably would have happened any way in time, and they don't have the traffic that would have come on weekends from the rugby.

As I have said before I might well have objected to this development had it not been for the promise of new sporting facilities which are badly needed in the Wakefield District. How many more Stanley residents feel like this? As NGBFC said, Screwed!

In fact I would say 'blatantly lied to' which feels worse somehow.
