Okay. Apologies for bringing something up that is directly related to WT on a WT forum and that was quite relevant to the game itself, some of you lot really do live in wonderland. We got a win tonight which is great, I was there and I supported the boys (Which is probably more than a lot of you) as I have done all season and am as pleased as anyone.

Just thought I would bring the point up as again tonight he dropped the ball without any pressure on a couple of occasions like he has done in every game he plays. As I said he is a good player and improving but just wondering why he is still making simple errors?

Even in victory, can we not look at where we need to improve? I hope CC focuses on these areas and not just "Cant we just enjoy the win" like you lot.

In all fairness, he does drop the ball a few times a game with zero pressure on him, cringe when he is next in line for the pass. As the op says, needs to iron this out but outside of that has improved very well since been here and hopefully will continue to do so!

He dropped the ball 3 times against us at home, just from passes from dummy half, was gutted when he was taken from he field

Regardless of the result CC will be looking at the good things and the bad. A professional athlete who’s job is to catch a ball and drive it through needs to be evaluated when he can’t do half of his job.

Back to Keegan - I like him as a player but Homme Vaste is right, he cannot catch a ball. I did comment on this along with England a few weeks ago.

Hang on a minute, Im not too sure what I have done wrong here with this thread?

If you look at my posts, you will struggle to find one where i openly bag a player and I haven't here, I ask a simple question and actually give him praise. It`s not my style to bag players and I don`t do it.

Not too sure why you are referring to me as his mate either? I have had just about as many disagreements with 18 than any other poster if not more.

In terms of been outvoted im not too bothered to be honest, we have a Cas fan on here and a Widnes fan and a few of our fans that have seen the same as I have over the course of the season. Maybe I am just seeing things.

Maybe CC wants him to be more than a bit player and even that small bit of extra responsibility can affect players in different ways.
Maybe stick to using him off the bench with Fifita, with Keegan doing the unspectacular stuff.
We looked a lot more effective when England and Huby started and as already been said, Fifita is an impact player and better used off the bench.

And on the back of my last post, I am not Thickle, If we lost tonight there would of been a dozen posters on here jumping on all of the negatives. I am not one of those posters, I call it as I see it and win or lose this is something I have been thinking for a while now. Maybe I should have saved this thread for when we lost so I didnt upset Chesire and Vastman.

There is no doubt Keegan drops the ball but he is an offloading prop. It's no good saying he doesn't run to his size when that isn't what Chester is expecting of him.
He draws players in and offload. That means he carries more loosely meaning he sometimes drops it.
I want him to improve that side of his game but I don't want him to be a battering ram to do it.
