Good riddance, worst signing ever?

Must go down in history as the worst signing ever. I'm not sure he ever had any intentions of doing much more then he has. Big soft lump.

Interesting - I wonder what sort of condition he is going to get them into? I suppose he'll be good at keeping players injury free - just reccomend the Ian Kirke method of training where you never play a game, then you don't get injured

It could be said that he's done the honourable thing and realised that his body isn't up to it anymore and ended the contract early.

Must agree; thought "sicknote" Sculthorpe was burden on us but Kirke has been worse.

Bs told him in front of all the squad (not sure what game it was) that he would never play again for Wakey whilst he was in charge. !!

Don't wanna sound too pedantic, but if he kept fit he wouldn't have missed practically every game. He was never fit in my eyes.

you can't prevent injurys i have spoken to his mates at games and they say he is a keep fit fanatic

Only remember him playing against Fax in the cup. Complete waste of a contract

Kirke knocked us back a couple of years ago when he was still under contract at Leeds, as soon as they cast him off he rocked up at B.V.

He had no interest in playing for Trinity, along with a number of his team-mates, hence the dire season we had.

I’ll remember him being up there with Jarrad Hickey – money down the drain.

Ian Kirke seemed like a reasonable signing when it was announced, but he ended up being the embodiment of all that was wrong In the team this season.

Wish we'd sacked him off when it was first suggested.

Kirke did really well. Signed for a year and sat it out. Make a sentence out of old rope and money,

The Leeds board say he showed a first class attitude. Well he showed nothing at Wakefield. A big lump of lard with no back bone or guts.

Apart from old bellyache, he certainly had most of us fooled that's for sure.

That's true, but it's all the others he gets so tragically wrong that undermine his credibility. I'm just hoping he's right about Morris because his success rate prediction wise isn't great.

Maybe he could be right for once, according to rumours and they are only that, albeit from slightly more informed sources the coach is expecting more from him and does not see him as a risk as we the fans do, only time and the opportunity will tell, thinking about it, it would also fetch belly's street cred up to an overdue reasonable level
