I dont think Saints will be a problem this weekend, We didnt come out of first gear on sunday, Saints were battered all over last night. Should be a cracker of a game either way

If bradford make the 8 it would be a utter disgrace. Its not like us back to the walls jobs all there assets and players are looked after by the RFL it would be a disgrace. Bet we will get a sob story how well they have done. That squad should be well inside the 8 anyway even with the point deduction

Totally agree - as far as I'm concerned they have not been punished at all. For a start the deduction should have been at the start of next season where as we know it really hurts. All this has done is made it slightly less certain they will get 8th spot.

Bulls might not win another game their remaining 4 are not easy games. KR still have to play Wigan as well. If we are still within a points when it comes to last 2 games would fancy us.

We arguably have the best run in of contending teams. It's possible with 3 wins from 4.

A win vs saints and kr (will be hard fought) and for me we look good for the 8th spot.

The players have found the rhythm and work ethic and if it continues then I dare to dream.

A bridge too far IMO.

The two defeats to Leeds & Bradford away have probably come back to haunt us.

As long as we come home with a wet sail & the promise of a better year next season now the squad has gelled, will do for me.

Or the try that shouldn't have been against Warrington.

This for me, don't think we'll get a play off spot and not bothered.

I think you're right.

Even just the Bradford one would have had us on 20 and them on 17, that maybe would have been enough. 1 point behind Hull KR with them to play and (on paper) 2 easier games to finish would have seen us into the eight IMO, as it is I think we will struggle (unless we can beat Saints??)

Think a certain Frenchman will have cost us the 8 spot

We just need to win our last 4 games and hope Bradford lose one against Huddersfield, Hull or Catalan. It's almost within our control, but lose today and it is a bridge too far.
Agar would then have claims to legend status: winning the last 7 games to get in to the playoffs in his first season.

Playing like last night both teams will need to improve. I have never seen as many dropped balls in dry conditions. KR look very weak outwide and think our game style is suited to do this. A few injuries last night and some on reports that may get punished.

Can see Bulls getting dumped by Hull and Catalan also depends who turns up in the Hudds game.Lets not forget we play KR and they have a game against Wigan to come.I still think the 2 points the side were robbed of at Warrington will cost us and wonder what the outcome would be if it was another club in that situation.

I think the St Helen's game is irrelevant. It'd be nice to win and give us a buffer but without doubt the game against KR will determine whether we stand a chance. Widnes have improved, but I'd still expect us to beat them and Salford are wobbling a little bit.

We beat KR we go a point behind them with 2 to play!

Just a bridge too far in my opinion. Warrington away and Leeds away have cost us dearly, and even Hull KR at home in round two could prove costly. Regardless of play offs or not, this season must be regarded as a success, and with one or two new additions we should be in the play offs next season.

Today is the pivotal game. If by a long shot we win, then we’ll go from big outsiders to equal favourites for the top 8. Dare we dream?
