Quick question can you pay on the gate? I went to Leeds last week arriving last minute and had to do a circuit of the ground via the ticket office blowing out of my arris doesn't begin to cover it mind you having a cricket ground attached didn't help my cause.

No cash turnstiles, tickets from ticket office on the day or buy online before match day.

There's no pay at the turnstile. The ticket office (ie shipping container) will be open on the Doncaster Road car park near the turnstiles. Buy a ticket then hand it to the turnstile operator. IFull details on the club Facebook page,

Just listened to MC on the Super League Show and it seems I was right.

It was always going to be based on business practicalities

There was never any doubt about that.

Mainly because as he stated, once CC had lost the support of what he called the sensible rational fans he knew he had to act. It’s these fans rather than the mouthy brigade who attend two matches a year who buy season tickets.

You could see it on here, after the defeat against Hudds all support drained away as far as I could see, Chesters position was untenable.

It’s sad but it’s the nature of sport.

The funny thing would be to see who thinks they are in the'sensible' fans group he mentioned.

Don't forget the sponsors too, if they decide to not bother anymore we'd be in a pickle.

Be fascinating, I’m not sure he meant any of us to be honest.

There are a core of fans, mainly business folk, long term fans with deep connections to the club and a few ex pro’s.

These people give sound advise over a number of issues and many give sizeable donations to the club. It’s the same al all clubs even the like I’d Man U or Chelsea.

Once these people become vocal I suspect it’s over because we can’t afford to lose that support.

That’s how I see it and I don’t think many are on here.

All the same MC reads these forums as far as I know and does take note of all but the most ludicrous posters.

To be fair I spent the whole interview wondering how he got into the jeans he was wearing.
It's sad that it took the threat of support walking to push him into action as it suggests his friendship with Chester clouded his judgement. The performances and failings are not a new thing, just the patience of even the 'sensible supporters.

I suspect CC was well supported by said group so I don’t suspect his judgement was clouded. I suspect both they and he knew after last Sunday, as was the case with many of us.

I’m not one of the group as far as I know but I certainly didn’t make my mind up until the Hudds game but after that debacle it was just self evident to me and almost everyone else.

Chester pretty much handed his notice in when he said the players are not good enough in public.

I just don't see how you could ever come back from that.
