Looking through the squad we have depth in every department plus adequate cover apart from Hooker. I really like Kyle Wood but I think he plays best when coming off the bench as impact against tired legs. Not seen much of Josh Wood apart from highlights, looks like he likes to attack the line but from what I understand the clips were whilst playing halfback.
Someone might be able to confirm but was it said that Walker won’t be recalled whilst out on loan? If true I think it’s clear we need a quality Hooker, a Paul Aiton type player who can get stuck in whilst defending but also lay a decent platform for the team going forward.
Cameron King was available but I think his asking price was too high as nobody would go near him and he (like most) still had the NRL dream.'"
I think Broughie could make that extra cover for hooker that you mention and bring Rocky into no.7 spot if that were the case.

All good players can cover different positions, still can’t see him being any where near the halves unless the SO, HB and hooker are taken out with injuries during any games.

| would be a very good signing for us and it seems he isn't all about money - however we do have a lot of forwards ??
if there is some money left we should have a crack I think.
I still think we should be looking at another half

I reckon there are at least 10 players in front of him to cover 6.
I think I'd even put Fifita in front of him.
Pitss will be a starting SR or on the bench behind Ashurst and Tanginoa imho.

Looking through your amended positions I'm surprised you haven't got Hampshire down in the wing position, I know he might be a better HB or FB option but he's also a very good wing option who last year scored plenty of tries for fun, if his options were limited in the other positions then he'd get in, in front of Kershaw for me every time, who like such as Jordan has had to be patient and wait his time, but as you say he is an option.

I've already accepted it and pointed it out by saying I should of put him in the SR/LF postion but that's not to say he hasn't played 6 before...

I guess it all depends on how TJ comes back, I'm presuming he's going to be fit for the start of the season. I can't remember if he was in the boxing day squad (I'm sure someone can clarify).

For me whilst Crowther is excellent in defence, he offers very little in attack and should be played in the second row due to this. Let Westerman and Arona switch it up at loose...

But that's not his position so I guess this list is just your preferred positioning rather than where everyone is right now. You can put Pitts back to stand off if that is what you are doing. I didn't get that.
But on Crowther, if you don't like his attack, why would you move him to an actual attacking role? SR clearly needs to snuff out the edge attacks but they are our strike weapons in the pack. That's why we signed Pitts and Tanginoa. We went someone who can run at the defense and come out the other side or release the centre.

You're taking this way too seriously or trying (too hard) to make me out to be a troll like Detective Willzo does. I didn't put the list together and think "let me put Pitts at HB to annoy folk".
Gwaze is questionable as I think he will move to SR in coming years, he got thrown around a lot in the games he played for us as he's generally a lot shorter than other props in SL but fair enough, that one was my opinion.
Apart from the 3 players mentioned do I have everyone else in their "position"?
Away from the squad/Crowther though, you make it sound like a second rower is an out and out attacker. The write up on the position is as below:
[iSecond-row forwards are numbered 11 and 12. While their responsibilities are similar in many ways to the props, these players typically possess more speed and agility and take up a wider position in attack and defence. Often each second rower will cover a specific side of the field, working in unison with their respective centre and winger. Second rowers are often relied upon to perform large numbers of tackles in defence. [/i
I think you're trying to make the position out to be purely one sided when it's not and only to back your argument up.
