I hunk this is a big game because of tonight results and while Bird is class I fear Inu more.

It isn't the end of our season if we lose but it's a good opportunity if we win so we should be all guns blazing.

Could be a season defining game this, real opportunity to almost cement top 8s if we can put a streak together.

3 tough defeats but against top or in-form sides, we've come through easter with barely a scratch apart from lyne who isnt far away from coming back.

Personally, I think this game is very important.

If we win this, will go above them and Saints. With the recent improvement of Warrington we are looking over our shoulder, this would bring Catalan into the equation.

Think with the switches off on concentration, the players owe the fans an EIGHTY minute performance to be proud of and no excuses.

Also think there are couple of players that owe the club a decent performance

Could add to that Miller and Johnstone, as I feel that overall, they have both been a shadow of what they were last year.

Strange half. Under the pump for most of it, defence held out then end up in front. Seemed to take control when Hirst and Huby came on.

Before that momentum changed. Catalan will be disappointed with that much possession, wind at their backs and only 6 points to show for it.

Cracking hard fought win. Catalan lost the plot in the 2nd half with their 5hithouse tactics. Got what they deserved.

That game was won on defense as much as attack.
They had set after set for 30 mins and couldn't bust us.
Set the game up for us when we got equal possession.

Exactly. defence has improved immeasurably and all the coaching staff should be congratulated, to have the 4th best defence in the league at this point is very impressive. I also think we have the best 'squad' of threequarters we've had for quite some time, and Miller has had his best 2 games of the season in the last 2 for me.

Great to have real pace in the squad and size to match the Catalans forwards, not the best game but to win by 20 points is great.

Shows our depth in the square that we can lose a player like Tom and still have wingers score most of the tries

My apologies there Daddycool when we spoke if some of my points were a bit blunt when we had a chat before the game.

Well, after all the hype about Bird and Catalan close to full strength, I was expecting a difficult game and wasn't too sure if we would win.
Catalan and Bird (grubbiest player to come to BV this season) were ordinary and but for our own howling errors would have been awful,
Having said that, defensively, we really stood up, especially losing Johnstone and later on England.
Possibly our best defensive effort of the season.
BJB was sublime and seems to really enjoy playing Les Cats,and his finish in the right corner was unbelievable.
Hirst and Huby we also excellent and Fifita did big, big, minutes.
A great effort from all and an excellent 2 points, which sets us up for the up coming games.

One area which was disappointing, was the lack of bal control and discipline when the game was won and we probably should have been looking at 40+ points against them, although, 30 - 10 was way better than expected before the game.

Catalans got what they deserved today. Zilch.

Not for me TJ is better but I don't think a break will do him any harm - I think all three wingers have been great so it's very marginal as to who you go for.

Also think Lyne and Arundel are really finding there feet.

Where we are struggling is hooker. Wood is great but struggles to do 80 mins with no obvious replacement.

If we invest it needs to be a nine for me.
