Didn't think Solomona was going anywhere anyway & also you're meant to be close to signing Hardaker, that will take some cash, even if it is a fairly risky signing.

Apparently the Hardaker deal isn't massive. He has limited options and isn't on a big wage at Leeds (no surprise there).
The offers for Solomona so far have been large but dependent on his success in RU. However, it seems someone has now made a large up-front cash offer that we will find it difficult to refuse.
If we sign Hardaker and keep Solomona I'd be very pleased.

So if you lost Solomona, Johnstone wouldn't strengthen you in that position over what you have.

Johnstone is, in my opinion, one of the best wingers in SL. If we lost Solomona, he'd be my number one target.

No doubt he hit the ground running. . . . for a season!

As for Wakefield's finances, other than Directors loans, the club is debt free and has a business plan that while not flush with money washes its own face without the need of a sugar daddy.

We don't have inland revenue chasing us and the bank isn't pressing us to clear an overdraught so there's no need for us to cash in.

As for the £hundreds of thousands that Cas are getting for the sale of Solomona, I think you're best banking it for the rainy days when the Fulton family decide enough enough!

You are living in the past. No money has been put into the club by the Fulton family since 2013. For the last three years, the club has been self-sufficient. God only knows how, given how hard it is to get a beer on match-days and the horrendous X-Blades clothing lines, but sponsorship seems to have rocketed (probably due to recent success and amount of TV coverage).

I foresee a merger. Solomona on one wing and Johnstone on the other would be great.

I stand by what I said.If we lose DS we have a good back up of wingers,not as good admittedly. ....but there is a place where cas have been caught out in in a number of matches which need strengthening more than a winger which will overall strengthen the side more than TJ will on the wing
