| It is such a depressing situation I feel sorry for those Trinity fans that have travelled all the way over to Merseyside to watch that display. Salford still seem to compete despite their injury crisis?

| Thankfully their goalkicker had an off day and they had a couple dis-allowed or it would have been worse. I don't wxpect to go to saints and win but i expect us to compete, injuries or not. Combined with Hull winning the bottom spot is looking nailed on.

looking at that team 44- 4 was a let off. It is probably the most bonkers team I have ever seen for players being played needlessly out of position.
and to think the stick that Agar got for playing Mathers on the wing last season.

| Salford have only lost by 4 and 2 in last two games having endured a similar injury crisis, so why are we constantly drubbed by 40+?
We won't win another game this season with Webster in charge, hes a whiner who's lost the players and fans the players attitude reeks and fans are voting with their feet. He wants chopping but we can't afford to. Why? Because he was handed a 3 year deal on the back of what exactly? Oh that's right nothing apart from being the assistant to another div who outstayed his welcome at both his last clubs.
For gods sake Carter get someone to shake these wasters up do it yourself if you have to. They're wage stealers and loyal fans who fork out a fortune deserve better.

| Professional players should know how to tackle properly no matter who the coach is. The truth is our players are not putting there bodies on the line and when you play half heartedly you are MORE likely to get injured. The attitude has come from the coach

| Just watched the tries on sky. Some of those tries conceded were shocking, half-d attempts, Saints players scoring without a hand laid on them etc etc. That isn't having players missing its the attitude of the ones who are.

And in 12 games have conceded all nut 500 points. It's embarrassing.

| I've got to say it now, and I've held my water for weeks, Webster is not the man for this job.
I know we've had/got injuries but we not only look down on troops but we look clueless, have zero shape in either attack or defence and the players desperately need a new voice in their ears from someone who has experience and commands respect!
This is too deeply entrenched now and Webster has become a part of the problem!

| The main things that are lacking are two important things which we have for the large majority of previous seasons always had in abundance:
Team spirit and effort.
Webster seems incapable of doing anything about it - he should do the honourable thing and resign because the only way we are heading at present is the championship for next year where the costs of Belle Vue will be beyond us and a path to oblivion will be looming large in front of us

| Post Match Press Conference
James Webster:
We did some things that were good today
We are OK as a team when the game is set for set between the two teams but as soon as we go a period without the ball we are too small down the middle to cope.
In tonight's game we went 2 x 10 minute periods where we didn't touch the ball and we conceded 34 points during those 20 minutes.
We couldn't cope with Walmsley and Masoe
All we are doing in training is defence!
Tom Johnstone went very well for us and once again we've blooded Jordan Crowther so we've had two 18 year olds out there.
Or words to that effect, not exact quotes

I am sick of hearing flimsy excuses from Webster. We had Scruton, Kavanagh, D Smith, Simon, Molloy and Ali in our forwards tonight. Hardly a bunch of midgets.
We can't cope down the middle or out wide because we don't have a defensive line that moves up to meet the opposition and don't tackle round the legs giving easy yards away and quick play the balls all the time.

| For me, the club is at its lowest ebb for god knows how long. No fight in the team, negativity from the top, we'll be labelled as moaning fans who aren't real supporters, clueless play, crowds dropping dramatically, and consigned to an unsustainable future in a dilapidated stadium by Yorkcourt (and a lot of our ills can be traced to the latter).
As a club, we're done.

| Unless you believe in miracles the only future for Wakefield Trinity is part time players playing in the championship ground sharing with Dewsbury. The name might survive but Belle Vue and Rugby in the city will just be history. I expect Wakefield will become the only city in the country without a full time professional sports team.

| Anderson Paea Ashurst Kirke Kirmond Collis Hall Owen all missing and the reason IMO we lost by 40 and not 4 is we were playing Saints and not Hull ! and we have played the top 4 teams in the last few weeks with a patched up team. We would have struggled with a full team against these sides let alone the one we have been putting out. Having said this our Fitness/Conditon is far inferior to other teams IMO.

Unfortunately this is how I feel about the current dire situation.
Webster 'we're not big enough down the middle' is getting tiring....Last night he had these in the pack...Scruton (6ft 1 17 stone), Kavanagh (6ft 2 17 stone), Dan Smith (6ft 2 17 stone), Jon Molloy (6ft 1 16 stones), Mickael Simon (6 ft 2 16 1/2 stone), Ali Lauitiiti (6 ft 3 tall 18 stones), Matt Ryan (6ft 5 tall, 16 stones).....It seems to suggest that he would like to sign yet another prop forward and probably try to off load Sammut who has turned into another Mellars type signing....
Going back to basics for defensive coaching a team in mid season that had a full pre season to sort out their defensive structures.

Bang on.
Our defence hasn't been right for 4 years.
Yes, we've done ok in some games but, the problem has been there for some time.
There is certainly a lack of the collective team ethos and far too often players are looking at each other, instead of covering for each other.
I'm no Salford fan but, whatever Tim Sheens instilled in them a few weeks ago has certainly worked and even without many of their first choice
players, they are working as a team. We on the other hand are not.
Webster has adopted a losing mentality and it clearly shows with our performances. 496 points against in 12 games says everything.
Let's hope that we are saving ourselves for the cup !

Very hard not to agree with this, apart from the negativity at the top bit. I think Carter and his colleague have been very positive in most things, although like many now, I do think giving JW such a long contract was folly.
How long do we have the privilege of playing in the dilapidated stadium - what happens when our time is up there?

| 10 SL defeats in a row. An 80-0 hammering. Conceding an average of over 40 points a game.
Yep, Webster must go for me. Nice bloke but out of his depth.

| Well at least Hull K.R will be happy. 10 tries against us next week will bring their confidence back and will be back on track to challenge for the 8.

He is a runner rather than a play maker so it just might be a more suitable position for him. His tackling is atrocious but then so is Hall's, (and the rest of the team).

| I don't know how many posters went last night but this is how I saw it,we would not have won the game but the score would've been 18 points less if the fool in the middle and the old man with a flag could see.At 20.4 down Riley had a opportunity to score,I thought he had but ruled knock on.Should have been 20.10 wether it was a knock on or not,Sts went up field and scored.Regarding watching the tries on your Telly in your front room,a lot came from mind boggling decisions.I personally thought we did ok and Miller had a good game at FB,Tom Jhonstone had a good game with a performance above his years We need to be more creative in front of the sticks and hold them down in the tackle longer like others do but we'd get penalized probably. All of the Wakey fans I spoke to last night after the game said the same,so the radio judgement of a game dos'nt wear with me
