They were co coaches and interestingly they also had Nobby on the staff but sacked him mid season.

Kelly and Harkin were both removed in favour of Mitch Brennan, Kelly was then appointed as Assistant. When Brennan was sacked Kelly took the job no one wanted, Trinity were a very poor mid to lower table 2nd Division team.

If I remember correctly the following season Kelly took us to the Grand Final and we won our place in SL.

To be fair though he did have a cracking team in comparison to the rest of the division. Adam Hughes, Sonny Wakarue, Garen Casey and our Aussie captain who's name escapes me plus many others.
Think Andy showed his strengths more that 1st season in Super League. It was sad that he was the 1st scapegoat of the Pearman fiasco.

We weren't the only good team around though, Featherstone with Gary Price, Ty Fallon, Richard Slater, Chico Jackson, Asa Amone, Carl Hall, Karl Pratt weren't bbad and Hull KR had Stanley Gene etc

Matt Fuller turned out to be a really good signing.
After he came back from being on loan at Bramley.
