I don't disagree with what you say about his skills and particularly his running lines. He is probably the best we have at that. It's just that he needs to do the other things to at least average level to make it still valuable to us.
I would love him to be back in the team and performing well, I just don't agree he is being treated as unfairly as you and NGB4C seem to do as I think there are many reasons to not put him in too.

The only reason he's not in just at the moment is because Fev are in control of the player.
Who's fault this is isn't too clear but, both the player and Wakefield would like him turning out in red, white and blue.

Agree, he is at best average. Yes he can run good lines but he also has faults to his game. If he was any good another SL club would have offered him a contract - as far as I know they haven't. Molloy is still young but is still getting used to playing, he hasn't let us down - not given away any penalties or knocked on that has cost us games.

He can make as many tackles as he wants but if that's all he offers, then no thanks. Good super league players are required to do simply more than tackle. Molloy looks like he was the ability of a wet fish when attacking. However, I'm willing to see how he does after more game time.

That's all that Danny Washbrook is offering this year. Tackles, but with ball in hand he might as well just fall to the floor the moment the ball hits his hands. Looks utterly disinterested.

His stats mean little considering he's given a token 5-10 minutes at the end of the game. If he was played in spells in both halfs it'd have more substance.

Think at the start of the season Agar was talking about playing 'moneyball' with the finances he had. Molloy not set the world alight, but has come from a good environment at Wigan. Washbrook hasn't looked the player of last season, so in comparison to what each one is getting paid, would say Molloy wins. Monday night is a perfect opportunity for the real Jon Molloy to put his hand up and have a big game against his former employers.

poptart never fails to amaze me, as a big critic of molloy i too took particular notice of his performance none of his supposed tackles were man to man they were either second or third man in or he joined in a gang tackle several times he ran alongside unsure wether to attempt a tackle or not,it might seem im giving the kid a bad time but godyour trying tomake a fans favorite out of a very ordinary player ,and for those who say he hasnt made any mistakes or given penalties away the man dosent get involved enough to do any of these

I'm not trying to make him a fans favourite, I just want to slow down making him the scapegoat until he's had chance to prove one way or the other.
If I picked my best 17 he wouldn't be in it.....but I think he gets more criticism than he deserves.
