what the hell sort of a reply do you expect when you rub salt in a wound. You woud be saying exactly the same things if the boot was on the other foot!
Fact-yes we were beaten by Cas', Fact - there were decisions made which were wrong-against both teams probably, but the ones made against us cost us the game.
What I can't hack is the euphoria shown by the Cas fans to what is a very ordinary team. In fact I have to say it you're a one man team-take chase out and we'd have walloped you!
I enjoyed the game though and saw passion displayed by all the trinity players. It's history now-next year we will be stronger!

I agree.
I thought the lads gave their all and the game could have gone either way but Cas just had a bit more luck than we did. I think they scored 2 trys which came from charge downs which says it all.

Of course we're ordinary,at the moment we have 9 first team players injured,4 of them first choice props, what were happy about is winning games with no pack,we were the better of two poor sides.

| You can only play whats put in front of you and it was a good game but lets face it if you took the best of both sides put out last night they would be hard pressed to beat wigan/wire/saints.

| As a game I enjoyed it a lot more than the Wigan v Bulls game. Disappointed in the result for selfish reasons. WTF do we pay touch judges for, surely the player reactions should have warranted a look at the video. Poor officiating as normal in SL.
Glad your still in though and not sacrificed for the Welsh experiment.

| Did the Youngquest try have a foot in touch during the build-up? I listened on YR and they talked about it, but weren't definitive.

Yes, Richard Owens foot was in touch just before Semi was penalised for a dubious high tackle on him.

| Tongia - thought he looked busy at the back and chased back to save 2 trys well. He has some real pace and a step which could be useful next year.
Hickey - looked a step closer to fitness from last time I saw him. If he keeps it up he will be worthy.
Gledhill - I went away from the match thinking he's not good enough... But on reflection maybe prop isn't best position for him at present. I was thinking loose forward
Anyway I went away happy. The effort was there from 1-17 and it was pleasing despite the loss. It was a good game.

Have to agree watching Gledhill. Since his debut last year he's not shown anything like that kind of form and gets physically dominated every collision. If the rumours of him wanting too much money are true then he needs to wind his neck in a bit because there is no way that he is worth big money yet, he has too much to learn and a lot of developing to do before that point.

Yep, watched it last night - Mr Silverwood seemed determined to ignore the advice he was given by his assistants as he piggy-backed Cas in for that try.
Inconsistent refereeing is frustrating; a blatant error that costs a side a tight game like that however, is simply unnacceptable. I expect Mr Silverwood to be running the line for the next 2 weeks, as punishment for his incompetence.

A bit like your hastily deleted response? Seriously, amongst some really stiff competition, you're just about the worst Cas troll that frequents this place. I usually charge for this sort of stuff, but I'll give you a bit of advice for free - slink off back to the Cas board and see if it's possible to get a slap on the back from some of the regulars there; it will do your self-esteem the world of good.
Back to the game - having now watched the recording, I was really impressed by Dale Morton's performance. If he continues to play like that into next season, we could have a real live-wire on our hands. Also thought P Johnson was outstanding - is he staying with us?

So on the Wakefield forum anyone with a differing opinion is a Troll, and keep your advice, after seeing the way you are frequently handed your bottom on other forums I feel you may need to heed it yourself.

| Out if interest, it matters not if Owen had a foot in touch before the penalty to Cas. In RL, penalties are given for foul play (high tackle on Owen) even if the ball is dead. In this instance, the foul play over-ruled the tehnicality of Owen going into touch, so therefore a correct decision was a penalty to Castleford.
Sorry, you'll need to find another excuse.

Had the touch judge been quick enough with the flag then there would have been no need for Semi to make the next tackle.
Sorry, you must try harder.

That’s my take on it. Owen stumbles as Tadulala is executing a tackle. Had Owen stayed on his feet the tackle would’ve been around the chest/waist.
