As i said previous AG & JE were in their hard hats on site, but whether they got a unit or not i'm unsure.

Probably would have been announced if we had for the opening. They could have just been shown around as they are part of the grand opening day but who knows.

Maybe a work in progress. Any permanant fixture in there would be good. Small unit or merchandise stand like they have in the white rose.

May hear something soon then.

Great stuff - that's quite an achievement; units in these types of development are incredibly expensive.

Joking aside. they'll have to seriously consider changing the name. I mean how can you market Trinity. It must be changed to capture the imagination of the youngsters.

Which is better the heritage of Trinity Walk or the commercialism of Wildcats Walk.
Perhaps an amalgum of the two "The Wildcat Store @ Trinity Walk".
Sadly can't make the shopping frenzy, the boilers packed in (again) and i will have to wait until the nice man from British Gas turns up.

More positive news and another potential revenue stream into the club, though some will insist its still cosmetic

I propose that the club approach Trinity Walk for the main shirt sponsorship deal, so that next year's kit will have the word 'Trinity' emblazoned across the middle much like the Leeds jersey with Leeds Building Society.

Has anyone been yet? its kinda weird walking from teall street into the new development which has been a building site for so long, it was great to see that area busy again after deserted for a long time. I hope this brings thousands more people to Wakefield and the ridings benefits from this because the amount of empty shops in there at the moment is worrying..

Currently in Leeds theres a shopping mall development being called Trinity Leeds, why not have a shop there too.



Revenge for all the Leeds shirts being sold in Wakefield.

I went for a walk round and as you say it's weird seeing Wakefield from new aspects, I got the same feeling when driving through the new Westgate developments for the first time.

The great thing about all this city centre improvement is it will encourage further development and a snowball effect builds up.

The Ridings centre is due to be expanded onto the land now occupied by the Wakefield Express and the Spaniard pub (don't know the new name). They are hoping to create store space that's suitable for department stores in the hope that they can compete with Trinity Walk for big name tenants.

With the opening of the Hepworth Art Gallery the riverside is set to continue it's progress.

Walking around Wakefields city centre will certainly take on a new feel when everything is done.

A new stadium in Wakefield is all that's needed now to give us a city to be proud of

Maybe when we've got a CITY to be proud and boastful about with iconic world acclaimed buildings like the Hepworth, people will be a bit more willing to openly support the only professional team that bears the name Wakefield.

Good to see James and the marketing staff out in force in and around Trinity Walk, handing out flyers for the CC game against Cas and the SL tie against Catalan.
At £15 for Cas and as little as £10 (with silver membership) for the Catalan game, hopefully it will entice some stay aways (if there's any left) and some new or neutrals!!
