I think it will still be Leigh , think they will beat Bradford next week and then beat an already safe Widnes the week after to finish on 8 points

It really is in our own hands, we need to win our next three games to secure our SL status, all against championship teams and if all goes well two out of three are at home.

Not sure where you get 8pts from? Leigh currently only have 2pts and have 2 games to go.

Widnes and Salford are all but guarenteed top 3 now, they need 1 point, or others to claw the gap and points difference. Both have a positive difference, Widnes would need a monumental collapse in scorelines to drop out. Every other side outside top 3 have a negative difference.

4th down is open field. Anyone from the 5 teams could make it mathematically. Wakey have Fax and Sheffield, if they lost them both then both those sides would join them on 4pts.

Its more exciting then SL tbh, the play off structure there means it will be over in 2 weeks, no build up really.

Leigh vs Bradford on saturday will almost be a cup final, Leigh simply have to win or its all over for them. Bradford win the pressure is on Wakey to put some points on, Wakey may have to go to Odsal if they are not careful. Very interesting.

We need to beat Halifax and Sheffield whilst Salford lose both games with us making up 68 points on them in the process and we would then finish 3rd by a single point on PD.
As an example we would need two 20 point wins and Salford two 14 point losses. That scenario is possible so it's not over yet but we are going to have to find something in ourselves this week to turn that last performance into a win by 20 points. It is still achievable but some effort on Saturday would have made it a lot more achievable.
Oh well, only 5 days until the next ride on the rollercoaster!!

Based on Saturdays performance, id be happy with 1 pt victories over Fax & Sheffield, never mind talk of us making up 68pts.

IF we win our 2 games and Salford lose theirs, 68 points will almost take care of itself.
The big question is will we actually beat Fax and Sheffield, it's embarrassing that this is possible, against the
supposed 2 weakest teams in the comp.

It could be worse though, just think how the Leigh fans are feeling

If we play with the same enthusiasm, determination, skill level and game plan as against Widnes we will lose to Halifax and Sheffield.

That's not going to happen, although Fax will bring some confidence with them, having despatched Leigh so easily.

All 4 games are down for 3pm Sunday 27th. As it should be.

One of the games will be moved to Saturday 26th at 3pm (and Sky need to give only six days notice).

I think you're right but that is going to give someone a distinct advantage. Whichever game is moved will involve a team with potentially something to play for and put them at a disadvantage when the others know exactly what is required the following day.

The RFL have form with this sort of thing.

Remember a few seasons back, with ourselves and Bradford fighting for the last play off spot (those were the days !) and the Bradford game was played before ours, which meant that we played Salford (at Leigh) knowing that we were assured of a top 8 spot.

Unlike other sports, we don't have the balls to tell Sky that the integrity of the comp is more important than programme scheduling.

Integrity of the com , your having a laugh. Its a micky mouse comp played for the sky armchair supporter. Playing sun then again on thurs, fri then thurs, then the tragic playing one club on 3 occasions .

They must have displayed all that when I left with 15 minutes to go!

Looking at what Halifax did to Leigh, it's important to remember that we only managed to beat them by 1; Sheffield had a good go against Salford an all - the score-line flattered Salford.

I certainly don't expect either game to be easy, let alone an opportunity to make up a big points difference.

Doubt very much our last game v Sheffield will be moves to the Saturday, sheff united play at home v Donny on the Saturday

Didn't they play their last game at Brammal lane and do they switch their home games due to football being priority ?

Think Leigh will beat the Bulls and Widnes are home and dry so Leigh may well beat Widnes
