Makes you wonder how long they've been sat on these plans, all of the logos on the stadium were the new design, so i can't see a professional architect deciding on a whim to search for the club's old logo to put on one of their designs

There's no reason they couldn't start building the other things as soon as terms are agreed, however, as the saying goes "once bitten, twice shy" we've been down the route of promising to build a stadium after they've built other things and it didn't turn out well

I can tell you one thing. I first saw a very similar design to that all be it on paper in 2005. It was one of a number that were kept in a draw at the club.

The rendering may be new but the plans are not imo.

Well this development just gets better, the stadium itself looks class with that design it will create brilliant atmosphere and also we will get a Lidl

MC said in the Trinity TV interview it's an 18 month build I presume that's for the whole project.

I think there's nic or something similar in the substructure of the pitch, won't br such a worry if the stadium is being developed over the top of the existing pitch

It's the north stand. From what I recall the terracing is laid on waste material that contains numerous heavy metals. I know it's an issue but I don't know how serious it is. I would imagine most old stadiums were built on similar and have been successfully redeveloped

As long as it's under hard standing it doesn't matter. Contam isn't a showstopper (as long as it's not radioactive!).

Where's that image from khlav. If there's going to be an Hotel, It would be certainly nice if it came with some amentaties like a bar for example.

Listen, a lot more people than us know the ins and outs of this. It wouldn't have been put forward unless everything was almost %100. The fact that the council has eventually realised the importance of Wakefield Trinity is a major factor. Thanks to the pressure forced upon Box and Co this will happen; maybe not as the architects drawings suggest..... but this is our time ! the sleeping giant is awake ! The future is very bright.
