I agree - that's two games now that BJB has won us with stout defence; let's not forget that it was his monstering of a Leeds player that set up Craig Hall's full length effort.
I'd still like to see him more involved in attacking moves, but who knew that he was a big hitter in defence?!

| Wouldn't change the squad too much this week. With the only change (depending on injuries) Tupou in for Walton.
I would've liked to have seen Chris Annakin play but I can't see it.

2. Tom Johnstone
3. Joe Arundel
4. Reece Lyne
5. Ben Jones-Bishop
6. Jacob Miller

I saw it on rewatch and I didn't see anything to say it was a bite.
The guys arm was in Moore's face. That's pretty much all you can see.

| I've just looked at the list. Moore wasn't even reviewed by the committee. I reckon Sky owe him an apology.
The only one of ours picked was Molloy for a shoulder charge that was ruled as no issue.

Id swap Tupou and Sio around, Tupou had a few week lay off aswell as Sio being in good form. Tupou to come off bench adding impact against tiring players. Although once we start playing on harder ground when the weather is better id start him as we will see the best then.

| This time last season, I would have feared an absolute rout in this fixture but, not now.
It should be a really good game and if anyone can persuade one or two stay away fans to come to BV, I think
they will be in for a treat.
Really looking forward to the game as Wigan will provide a great benchmark as to where we are.
We may get beaten but, it could also be 4 on the bounce if things go our way
Come on Trin !

| William Hill are giving us 8 point start.
That's nicely conservative of them.
Wigan are surely still favourites but not by a long way.

| Yep, stick with Sio at loose.
Got 3 good impact players, who know their way about in Tupou, Simon and Arona.
And and no nonsense tackler in Molloy.
Walton if left out, will be very unlucky.

| Can the word 'optimistic' be used yet?
Three wins on the bounce, on in front of the cameras, so the stay aways could witness Johnstone.
As always, a few maybe tempted back but it's a massive acid test Sunday, I'm optimistic that we can get the right result and not fall flat on our faces, as is the usual case.

Walton's time will come. Players like him are gold dust to clubs like us. Will never have the finesse or specialisms for the likes of Wigan and Leeds but will plug a multitude of gaps for us with his no nonsense 100% approach. I'm hoping Anakin will find a similar niche, it's just taking longer than hoped.
However you have to find a place for Tupou so long as he is fit and ready, or we might as well get rid.

Hope not, I think a Trinity with Tupou and Kirmond available to run out wide would be devastating - if he or we don't want to play him then no point carrying on.

| Looking at Wigan's injury list and suspension list, I'm starting to really fancy our chances (which is always a worry).
We know that any Wigan team will always give everything (especially under Shaun Wane's stewardship) but, we have nothing to fear and if we maintain the form of the last 3 games, we can claim another 2 points and make progress towards the top 8.

| Bold statement wrencat. Wigan still seem much faster in the play the ball area to me and the pack still look very mobile. It could come down on the Wigan h/ b whose at stand off.

| Even with their hb's being way off par, I think they'll beat us for strength, aggression and downright dirty ness; good as we looked over Easter, Wigan are a cut above the teams we beat in that run of form.
There'll be no shame in a loss to Wigan - provided we compete.

| Wigan have so much strength in depth they could field two SL teams. So while I think we will give them a game, I am aware we will have to be at our very best to get a result.

| Depending on your point of view regarding Anderson, Annakin, and B Topou we will be at virtually full strength on Sunday, playing decent rugby and full of confidence against a team decimated by injuries and as the coach says only playing in fits and starts.
If ever there was a time to feel confident about beating them it won't come any better than Sunday.

| Our defence has got to be strong all over the park specifically on the wings as they are very good at creating a overlap and any playing rushing out will get us punish. Hope our forwards are up for a big battle down the middle as I feel this is where the game will be one and lost (normally is however against Wigan its certainly what they like to do, dominate the middle and execute out wide).

According to the Wigan board they are without Crosby, Mc'ollorum, Flowers, Farrell, Bateman, and O'loughlan, thankfully that's some forward power that'll be missing Sunday

| Missing Bateman and SOL is quite big for them, on top of Farrell and McIllorum.
However, they still have players we would quite happily add to our team (playing ability wise) so they are no mugs. Isa, Tomkins, Clubb, Mossop, Tautai are all still formidable.
With Sarginson, Manfredi, Charlnley, Smith in the backs they have skills and strijke power too.
They'll be looking at us thinking they can get two points while their stars are recuperating, giving them an advantage over other teams later in the league.
We'll need to be at our best to beat them......but we can beat them.
Their stand off will be the key for me. If we let them make it work the others will have the ability to beat us. If we can shut down either a player out of position or a young kid it will slow their play completely.
