Every coach has there own vision, whether Fifita is in the interim coaches plans for the season to cover injuries etc or even Fitzgibbons plans who knows. Either way I don’t feel as confident as I did about him coming now after the announcement on sky and reading chesters comments on the situation too.

I for one would love to see AF @ BV but I am unsure that he is capable to be the player he was/is & to still deliver on a regular basis.
I have read the Cronulla fans observations, they say he has only delivered on 2015, & 2018 ! They say he has all the skills & ability
But is unable to deliver now !
He has had talks with the board & his slate is super clean now, a fresh start is granted to him & to see how it goes now for the next few weeks ?

Thinking about it, even if we had signed him, it would make sense to delay the move based on his 3 match ban, he is available for selection over there so he will be banned for 3 weeks if the deal was done and he was set to come over then he would likely face 5 weeks on the side-line due to the quarantine making him unavailable for selection anyway.

Saw the interview with Chester saying we hadn't even touched on the financials of the deal which I find hard to believe, if that`s the case then you would think we are wasting a lot of time on a deal that seems way out of our reach financially.

Was my thinking but to be fair there was another party involved in that move, maybe Fax were only willing to take him if they got him immediately and we had to take that chance.
