Only reason Michael Carter got involved in the first place was to keep his 'investment' from disappearing. It's no surprise he wants it back.

He may well waive it but I would want it back and I don't see why he wouldn't. If he bought 'some' shares then maybe but if he wants total control then he should take control of it all.

It’s very easy to tell people what they should do, what they think they have said and meant and how much loss they should make especially when it’s not your money or your business.
By the way, I do still think the management of this season has been crap.

I am not saying whether he should or should not get his loans back, what I am trying to say is that it is just another example of him bending the truth to make himself look good.

So he can't answer those questions.

I think it's fair to discuss these things with the guy potentially buying and the lawyers before Gaz from Facebook.

This all started because someone put on Facebook that he was standing in the way of the deal because he wants £200k a year for the stadium rent.....which is clearly not true. Those people have then twisted every bit of info they can to make something of it......just for personal reasons.
You won't see them when details come out to contradict their claims. They just move on to the next one.

I have not seen the MC reply but can someone explain if we took the pandemic loan given to the RFL clubs. I was under the impression we hadn’t and made a virtue of not doing so. I don’t remember seeing any mention that this had changed but I could just of missed it depending on the media used.

I agree.....unless it turned out that source was lying. Then they should take responsibility.

He says in the article that we did.
He originally said in 2020 that we wouldn't and would try and cut costs appropriately and use the furlough scheme as much as possible.
The problem is furlough didn't last forever and covid did so we had to go back to the loan scheme.
I think I remember JM mentioning that in one of the Shareholder meetings but I didn't take notes so can't really guarantee that.
Either way, we didn't originally, we did eventually.

However he clearly say "Then theres my directors loans"

Outside the council loan, the directors loans are the highest debt we have, no takeover talks are going to to take place and them not be brought up / discussed etc. If he was honouring his word, of him 'abolsulety not bothered about them" then there would only need to be a 2 min discussion along the lines of, they will be wiped. If he was wiping them, surely he would have said so in this interview ? He also doesn't mention if JM has any directors loans or his position, but as yet JM hasn't made any bold brash interviews saying hes not bothered about his.

He doesnt mention the "£200K' rent , however is it beyond the wildest possibilities that this idea was floated in any talks ? That the the stadium to be transferred and run by a stadium management company, and rent this to the club / Wakey FC etc ? If so, you would assume that the council loan would also be transferred to the same management company. Stadium Management companies are pretty common thing.

1) Yes, but has he not said before that he would not seek repayment of the loans he made?
2) What is to discuss, if you are not wanting them repaid.
3) See no1 - also because it would damage the clubs chance of being took over and/or finances going forward depending on the repayment terms sought.

Point 2 is bang on the money - its a 60 second statement to Ellis - I dont want my directors loans back - like he said in his podcast interview.

Glover afforded Carter the luxury of wiping his directors loans when Carter inherited the club.

Lots of legal steps to go through to decide how loans are handled.
Does it stay as a loan with Carter a creditor or just written off, etc

Dont think its a matter of 'changing his mind', he never intended to wipe them, he just let his mouth run overtime when on the podcast.

If only they had realised it, MC and JM could have involved M V in the business sale and all would be sweet as a nut.
