Just racking the old brain cells, i seem to think he made his debut against us what seems a long time ago. If not his debut , he only had just started in first team. He had a blinder that day and ran us around.

It speaks volumes about certain other experienced squad members who have played full back previously and the club have signed Shaul on loan instead of considering them….

Most agree, Think I will be down on Sunday because of this signing . No were as good as when he burst on to the seen ,but fat better than the other choices .Think this show's how money as been wasted on players to strengthen the first team One on loan,one loaned out and one that is ok for 40 minutes a match

Possibly to some extent, but it's more about if you don't get the reinforcements in now, you miss the boat (5pm Friday transfer deadline).

With Max out and the potential for future injuries (plus we don't know the full extent of niggles/fitness within the current squad), it makes sense to get players like Shaul, who also have a utility value.

Not as good as Jowitt but with him injured a better replacement for a month than Gaskell. Mind you so would pretty much anybody.

The Gaskell kind of signing as been going on for 3 year you can see why we are at the bottom

Agree went well , He looked good under high balls

The thing I liked most was he bossed the defensive line.
I really like Max but if he has a flaw in his game, this is it.
I feel a lot more confident in our defense with Shaul covering Max's absence for the rest of the season.

Noticed that it was Shaul who closed Lomax down on the last play.

If you watch the replay, Fifita is held back by a Saints player at marker...just maybe he would have shut Welsby down too.

Shaun has a decent defence too. An area always mentioned regarding Max.

He was great again tonight. Another one that we were forced to make and not many others would have been in for. But this one looks pretty good so far.

He’s just a solid SL player. That was a try tonight for me, if it wasn’t for the ref sending every decision as a no try up and skys Fisher price like camera views it would of been given. He’s a decent player, really glad he’s come

Yep...thought he was good against Saints, but along with everyone else tonight he was excellent

His communication at the back is much stronger than any of the other lads that have played there this season.
