I especially agree as regards Smith FFS.

In the Wigan game Smith actually played ok and actually looked like offering something different. Although he has been poor in the bast, based on the last game which was Wigan away he deserves another chance.

Jeez you're a contrary one. I thought the point was to build for the future - if Smith is with us next season let alone the future I will be devastated. Come on one good game for a player taking up a quota spot isn't really enough.

You don't wantch the same game I do. At the beginning of the season his defense was a big part of the reason we won games as we didn't have a weak link at half back. Now he is often having to do other people's work with cover tackling.

I actually think Murphy has played his best games at fullback by miles. Remember him chasing breaking opposition down. Running back strong and being very reliable.

I am all for Murphy at fb. At centre he is decent but he has not touched his performances at fb.

I have to say Vasty, for a change I'm leaning towards agreeing with NGB4C. Murphy is a very good fullback and I prefer him there over centre.
It's just while we have others good enough for fullback he is also our best centre I'm happy him being there for now.
But if we signed better centres I'd move him back.

Either Griffin or Vievers have to play for goal kicking.
As Tony can be used at Hooker, and I don't think Smith is good enough to play Vievers may be in.

Lee defence has been shocking in the last 5 games, mainly because his positional play is awful. Then again so has everyone elses. But with Lee its probably due to the fact that up to this season he has spent most of the last few years playing at hooker and as thus been defending in the middle of the park rather than on the fringes.

I still think that is harsh but fair enough point, however 5 games is not the same as the worst defender in the history of the game like Belly said. He's probably knackered after slogging it out for all the other games.

His tackling technique is ok he just looks like a fish out of water. If we stopped trying to put square pegs in round holes the defence would undoubtedly improve accross the park.

Looking at the cru squad as compared to our possible team its really hard to call. If the cru lot decide to put it in I think they look very good value with 8 pts start.
