Education, football, and art are 3 of big sources for grants, if we can have a learning centre in the new stadium and an arts space we would be able to secure funding. It would be ideally placed for arts as its within walking distance of the Hepworth.

Some of us are getting on a bit and carry aches and pains from years of hard graft and standing for 80 minutes takes its toll so seating is a blessing to some of us

I think the pitch could be moved South East by a few metres
That would create a few extra metres on the Western Terrace/Stand allowing for a bigger or deeper structure to be built whilst also keeping the North East corner away from Doncaster Rd by a few metres.

It would be far better to have a concourse under the West Stand thus avoiding the can alley that runs behind it at the moment.

You could actually do that without moving the pitch, it really is bigger than it looks - however its a fair point and I see no reason why you couldn't other than perhaps you'd make some of the northwest corner terrace un-useable but then we have no idea whats planned for that either.

I do have a sense of humour Vasty, and it was funny, but I don't like de-railing a thread too much, especially on something that is quite important.

is anyone aware of what the Official Community Trust think about the way things are moving? Do they approve of The Club purchasing the ground? I've heard nothing on here, or anywhere, from any of the Trust members. It would be interesting to know their views.

Well I'd like to ask a genuine stupid question, who actually owns the ground, the club or the trust.

I’m pretty sure it’s all about the Trust. So nothing underhand could happen with it in the future. Eg. Selling it to some dodgy bank in Ireland.
