As I said all we can do is see what DP says about it, probably much to about nothing, but it'll be interesting to see what he says.
Last week we played with 12 players at times just to see how we would cope in that situation, with all the cards being shown this season and the coaches wanted to see how we'd cope.
We could have easily named some younger players to make the numbers up to 21, we know there are a few not injured from the 1st team squad that have been mentioned previously but he's chosen not to, I think maybe there's less to it than there is tbh.

I'm alarmed that we've only named 19 after just 3 games, but I'm not concerned that it'll effect this weekend's result.

We don't know the context of a players availability, a slight knock not worth risking then they may be not considered, as opposed to a long term injury.

Why do we keep changing not just kick off times but also the day. The match today is 1400hrs but for Barrow it is Saturday but 1500hrs. I think Saturday games are problematical with traffic and parking.

He finished up with 13 from 13. I thought his kicking was the high light of the game. I am not a fan of these easy walkover games.

I don't know what best describes the number of errors we are coming up with against these lower league teams, surprising or shocking? 4 turn overs for not playing the ball correctly must be the dumbest.
Some of the championship teams have guys who will take good advantage of the sort of ball and field position we keep tipping up.

I thought the attendance was very good for a game against an amateur team. Augers well for the season when more competitive games come round.

I’m not sure if I don’t fully understand the rules but Uele stood up (with no hands on floor) and rolled the ball back with his foot. He stumbled slightly after that being a quick play but it was played correctly yet he was penalised and clearly wasn’t happy. Also the Hunslet player had hands on him still. Seemed an incredibly harsh and unjustified turnover and call. What have I missed?

Otherwise yes it’s an area we need to work on but it certainly seems we are being targeted on it by officials. Perhaps because we are on the front foot a lot and looking for quick plays. It’s certainly highlighted something to work on.

I think it's just part and parcel in these uncompetitive walkover games for players to switch off for a second and not be on top of their game all match. When you're 40 up in as many minutes I suppose your intensity levels aren't going to be as high as a closer game and are more prone to switching off a little.

Personally, to say we've had so much ball and so many PTB'S in all the games, it's no surprise we've been pinged a few times, it's inevitable, some have been very borderline IMO as well.

We've had to create the intensity and just get on with things and play our game, I think we've done well against the likes of Hunslet, Siddle and York, especially in defence, but also playing some nice expansive RL. Maybe we won't give away field position if we play teams nearer in quality to us.

These last few games must have been a bit of a ballache for the players, especially so many in a row. With no real contest, having to bring and keep your own intensity levels going, while we pile points up and dominate time on the ball and nothing but criticism if they didn't hammer every one of them and play error-free games, which IMO is impossible with the amount of ball we've had in these games and the amount of points we've scored.

Personally, I think we've worked hard since last year and nearly every time we do get the PTB correct but as soon as someone looks like they didn't the refs have been on us, but a million times better than where we were.

Sat in the "posh" seats with hospitality and it was spot on.
The view was good and there seemed to be more on the North Stand than there was for some of the games last season...

Just watched the highlights and I cant for the life of me see how the Hunslet No6 stays on the field following the shoulder charge on Boothroyd, its at best a yellow and in todays refereeing climate could easily be a red

Hopefully a few more next week but, cant see too many making the trip down from Barrow.

That seating pattern in the East Stand certainly does an excellent job in masking the unoccupied sections.

The offense committed is more gamesmanship than violence.

I don't think it would, so no further action.

The severity of the injury has no bearing on the decision on a charge/no charge.

It's a shoulder charge, with force, blind side, causing flexation of the neck, it most definitely warrants a charge.
Having said that and reading the disciplinary notes for last weekend, Will Dagger head buts and makes full frontal contact with an opponent and only gets 2 matches, seeing the incident, its far worse than Sinfields 6 matcher from a few years ago.
