12.52 - currently in 11th but right in the middle of the pack where half a dozen clubs are around. A good season next year with continuing improvement off pitch would see us in Super league, but it's fine margins

Considering the financial constraints we've endured I think that 12.52 as a starting point for the new regime is testament to the spade work put in by the outgoing team.

Sounds like Cas and the RFL have stuffed up their grading by half a point so we are probably 12th but with more scope to go above them next year.

I would imagine Leigh move up, and our score is without the new stand, but then will be after a season of championship rugby.

We need a strong season, keep the support up and get the social media side rocking too. Get some LED boards. It's pretty tight from 10 - 14 so every 0.125 counts.

As anyone seen the breakdown of the scores? The maximum score for the ground is 3 points. It will be interesting to see how many points the new stand will get. Add a good season in the Championship & 1895 cup and we should be okay.

Cas look to be in trouble & need a better season next year.

Do not say any thing about them they get no thanks from a lot on here .

Trinity 12.52 points, Leigh 12.45 and Cas 12.16, Wow Bradford Bulls! 12.02 points 14th position

Big drop then to Fev 15th with 10.65

Looking at the scores, it wouldn't suprise me to see 14 teams for the 2025 season onwards

If Cas were to get 0.5 back then the LED boards would still put us ahead of Cas as it stands.

These little wins on points are important.

If we can:

Get some LED advertising boards - 0.125 points
Expand subscription and interaction on SM -
Keep crowds above 3500.
Build a SL standard team (this grading will really help attract players as we are a SL team in waiting!) and win the league and 1895.

This should see us back in 2025.

These gradings may actually help us to recruit for this year some quality players with the expectation of us returning to SL in 2025.

Remember the stand will give us some small increases across the board but also, it's small fractions but Cas league score over 3 years will fall unless they achieve at least a mid table place this time.
Those GF and 1895 points are a big target for us.

It almost feels like we are better placed than Cas by being in the Championship!!

The 2021 performance drops off next year. We finished 10th & Cas were 7th. We cannot improve on 10th, but we can win the Championship & finish “13th”. In addition we will get 0.25 bonus points & IF we win the 1895 cup will get another 0.1. Cas will struggle to improve on 7th & will lose points.

Add in the new stand & we should be well above Cas & ok

The grading could assist us in the quality of signings we make because the provisional score indicates our return to SL.

Very good point.

The drive to improve standards among all RL clubs should be applauded and is a positive for everyone involved in the sport.
However, the bottom line here, is that we are still left with the same clubs battling it out for a place in SL.
Everyone has a preference but, with all this upheaval, what tangible benefits will the sport actually see ?

Looking at the top end of the ratings, you can see Bradford, York , Newcastle and Toulouse in there and then of course there is London.
Ranked 24th but, in SL on merit.

London (ranked 24th) gained their place in SL on merit (winning the Championship GF), they shouldn't be relegated because a different club has more plastic seats or "tweets". It's just wrong.

IMG should be spending their time securing a worthwhile TV deal and settling a decent International program and fundamentally, RL needs to decide just what it is ultimately trying to achieve.

IMG are going to have to come up with some fats talking to justify promoting and relegating certain clubs.

I can see how Trinity can benefit from the new criteria but, none of this sits well and ultimately, whichever 12 clubs make the final cut, how much actual progress will the sport make.

There are bgger issues to solve, especially the international calendar and shrinking TV deal right now, what we have is expensive "tinkering"

Although it maybe wishful thinking I just can't see that happening very soon, there is simply not enough money to go round.

Maybe but, Leigh will be rated higher than their provisional score as their Challenge Cup success isnt included and if Cas jump above us (on appeal) we are down to 12th spot. - the whole concept is just wrong.
We may benefit initially but, until RL decides what it is trying to achieve, the criteria can soon be changed to suit someones new "best" idea.
