The only thing I would say is that we should aim locally first and decide which area we need to go elsewhere for.

BC needs replacing but Kay wasn't really a first teamer yet (though of course we all thought he would be this year) We could get a young player and keep Fox and Lyn as main wings if we need to.
Aiton should be primarily replaced by Wildie in my opinion and then backed up by one of those named above
The props are an area where there is not a lot around but I would again prefer 1 strong player with younger ones around them
Tim Smith could be replaced by Goulding. I still think we need another half back though.
Back row we are well covered and I wouldn't replace

Apart from KM there’s only one of our own on that list , The rest would want a wage/ package  the same as some of those who have left , those like Nathan Ashe , Liam Hood , Jack Briscoe are no where good enough as we have released better in our time.

Would be looking at world cup players the either play for feeder/lower leagues teams before some of names above.

Thinking about it, I think I would put all my extra money in the front row.

Back row is fine. Backs range from ok to very good.
Half backs is a question but I think we could make do with what we have if they are well protected and we have a good go forward.
I would be looking at the Samoan/Fijian/Tongan front rows that we have seen recently in the world cup. I wouldn't take just any of them, but there are some great prospects there.

I wouldent be dissapointed if we signed Mark Offerdahl not the biggest of props but breaks a lot of tackles.

But then you've to look at relocation packages.

That's correct we are trying to get him in SL, one of the champions in the last few years would take him tomorrow but are full on cap.

Similar for a lot of clubs most recruitment has been done now, some great opportunities for 'smaller clubs' to pick up some top talent.

Wakey would be a great move for him even if it was for 1 year to establish himself in SL.

He's big enough at 6 foot and 16 1/2 stone. Come on Daddy Cool get him signed!

Funnily enough I heard the other day, that a former poster on here (who was into a good sun tan) is now a players agent and Mark Offerdahl is one of his players.

Make of that what you will.

How bizarre, I wonder how long it will be before Offerdahl is seen doing donuts in the super bowl car park, or at the very least getting off the 189 on Doncaster Road.

For the fear of sounding positive what's left is far from the worst I've seen at BV and with some sensible additions and positive coaching it's far from easy beat material.

Gutted at the loss of Amor and sad to see Aiton and Poore who are genuinely quality go but the rest are all replaceable.

Not that bothered about Smith, good in parts but no Danny Brough IMHO.

Would have liked to keep Kay, but choosing championship RL shows a worrying lack of ambition IMHO - I don't care how poor our offer was it's still SL Rugby and a chance to back yourself and hopefully make the grade - remember he played ONE game - ditto Cowling though I feel he has been a bit more harshly treated.

Also it's not as if last years team were ripping it up anyway - many of those below would have gone anyway money worries or not.

I'm ok with what we have as long as we can add some depth to front row.

Peter smith on twitter earlier today saying he thinks 2 more to leave. Losing a bit of quality for an increase in bodies.

He said hes not looking for get rid of anyone else, hopefully it says that way.
