Take no notice of the ball cocks talked by quite a few. We don't know if this is happening at all. It's idle speculation and pretty horrible stuff. Wait till you know the facts before you draw conclusions would be my advice

Yes I obviously jumped the gun on that one. I had my ear bent a little today by someone connected to the club, they assured me most of what I had read was inaccurate and some news was due. Hopefully, we can all look more positively for the eventual outcome.

I do fully understand what he did in 2013. Was things financially, though, how he summarised it several times over, in 2013, I very much doubt it. The figures changed significantly over a short period of time.

His manner hasn't endeared him to a lot of fans during his tenure, not just in recent times.

I don’t think every decision MC has made has been beneficial to the club but neither do I think he’s the total bad guy he’s being made out to be. I note that JM has also been dragged into things from hero to zero in record time.

Personally I don't want a glad hander. I want someone who can make tough decisions and take the hit if they go wrong even if those affected don't like it.

He's had to be unpopular to get things done and I'm glad he did. Clearly some have a little vendetta going and waited for the day when the team wasn't doing well to pile on.

Minards on the other hand is someone we shouldn't lose from the club. If I was the new guy, I'd keep some of the people who work at the club at least through transition.

Some of what he said in the article will be true but some of it is certainly bending the truth and he glosses over some key points.
He said he will give away his shares and then in not so many words says that he wants his directors loans back which is contradictory.
The covid loan came out of nowhere as he previously said that we didn't need and had not take one so yet again the fans have not been told the truth.
Claiming that we now have a £10 million pound asset is laughable, just because something costs circa £10 million to build does not mean it is worth that. An actual rugby stadium in itself is effectively worthless as it cannot be bought and sold like normal property such as Houses can so the main value is in the land itself and if people are claiming that to be worth £10 million then they are in cloud cuckoo land. Also if you were getting a £10 million pound asset for the cost of taken on about £4million in debt the business people would be queuing up to make a profit. I am sorry but the maths simply do not stack up.

I am well aware they are 2 different things but saying you are giving your shares away but still wanting directors loans back in effect means that he isn't giving the club away for nothing like he is making out because in order for him to give away his shares he wants his loans paying back.

He didn't say he was giving the club away for nothing.. You are putting words in his mouth.
For a start he doesn't whole own the club so he couldn't 'give it away even if he wanted to. He isn't even majority shareholder.

Correct he didn't but he said many a time he would sell for £1, now it seems that he wants his loans paid off aswell. I am well aware that technically paying off his loans isn't the same as buying the club but it is yet another example of him bending the truth.

How much are these 'loans' supposed to be?

1) selling for £1 always included the debts.
2) it says in the article they haven't discussed director loans yet
3) why shouldn't he want his loan paying back?
