Looking at Cas's signings i think they are just spending Rangi's salary on as many players as they can. Not really improving there first choice team, but certainly improving the squad. There are a couple i would have been interested in to add depth to our squad.

I think (unless someone can provide a link) that it's yet another myth that's been peddled but the longer it rolls the bigger the snowball gets.

The Elston interview he said we will be spending same amount as last year on salaries. With regards to Cas signing all players without a good half back like chase will not make much difference as even we have noticed with one half missing this season we have looked in affective at times.

The recent statement suggests WTW might try to be more active in promoting junior players hence the shortage of new signings. A good thing IMO.

Why would they if there is no basis for it?
If they were to try and debunk all the crazy rumours on here they'd need a full time news crew to keep it up to date.

Further to my other posts. I have not seen Lee Smith do much wrong. I have seen people like Mathers, Fox, Cockayne Tim Smith, Lyne, Aiton...do good stuff and howlers/ mistakes. a plenty. Lee Smith has been solid and consistent for me and is a good goal kicker, which fills a big hole for us...for goodness sakes why would we not want to keep him?? Who is gonna be a decent goal kicker if he goes?

Totally agree. He he one of our most staedy and eliable players. NOT an error prone idiot like so many of our side. 100% effort. Good tackler. Hard to tackle with the ball in hand. Some pants being said about him on here fo me

Well said Tigerade.. a point that seems to have escaped our idiot coach who has singularly failed to recognise his ability and dispensed with him with ridiculous ease... and we hope Tuson is as good when he plays in a less gifted team. He will score against us for you next year and make me and eveyone else who knows how good he is puke with frustration that RA is so hopeless at reading a player

A point that seems to have escaped you is that we offered him a contract and so did Cas, Cas offered him more.

It didn't escape me; it obviously wasn't enough to keep him. We don't know how much it was obviously, but clearly RA didn't rate him enough to match Cas, but has forked out, I would guess more, for Tuson. I hope he proves to be worth it.

One thing is for certain Tuson's defence is better than Mariano
