We know that now but didn't at the time. Leeds still needed to score twice and by keep taking the tap we ran a few minutes down in their 20 and as I have said in another post had Blaymire not got done for crossing (which was a fair decision), then we may have come up with some points or penned Leeds down there

i see your point but you relly have to take the points when they are on offer and i am surprised broughy didnt realise that as wakey always take the 2 on offer in front of the posts well 99 times out of a hundred anyway, tonight must have been the 100th

great game. really unlucky. i kind of wanted leeds to win cos wire are in same position, but the attitude of you players from the word go was outstanding and it made me want 'wake' to win against instincts. leeds looked like they were up for it and your side more than matched them in every area and stood up to be counted against some fiery tackling ie that tackle on pieterson. great game as a neutral- some quality players in your side on that performance- Brough especially. good luck in your next games.

Stand up Steve Snitch you were outstanding tonight!

I thought Snitchy was head and shoulders the best back rower on the field tonight. He ran good lines, ran hard, ran often, he used a step a shimmy and a big hand off, tackled everything that moved and was regularly first defender at the chase.

Unlucky with the result in many ways tonight but they did outscore us 6 to 4. However we had the game won and could'nt close it out, a lesson we learn I hope.

Injuries and fatigue got us in the end but that can't detract from what was a superb game and a magnificent performance from the lads. If we keep up that sort of form we can be in the play offs and give them a bit of a shake!

I wont get on about the decision to not take the two points as I actualy agree with us kicking to touch, aint hindsight a wonderfull thing.

At the time we had Leeds on the back foot and we desperately needed to run the clock down. Two points would have been nice but we would be receiving the kick and under pressure inside our own 20 mtr line.
Who knows, had we taken the two we could have coughed up the ball and conceded a try much earlier than we did.

Terrible way to lose a game but I'm more interested in the superb performance.

I just hope it doesnt put our confidence right down and mess our season up. We need to keep are heads up!
