Didn't Agar say at the Carlton Cricket Club gig that one of them (think it was Cowling) was knocking on the first team door and would probably play before the end of the season?
If there's still a doubt about Collis, then I think one of them should play. Frankie did a good job as stand-in, but it'd be nice to see what one of our home-grown centres could do. I don't think it'll affect the outcome either way - that'll be decided by the forwards and whoever partners Tim Smith. If Frankie plays, he should be on the bench as interchange/cover.

He said Cowling would have to wait untill Collis got injured to get is chance.
If you need a centre out of those 3 then it has to be Danny.

Well let's hope he's good to his word then, 'cos Collis was heavily strapped before he went off, and if it's a recurrence of an old injury, the extra week won't do him any harm.

| To me we need wins to get in the 8.. frankie is solid and played well last week.
Dont get me wrong Walshaw has played admirably but and Cowling was outstanding against St's but that was over a year ago.
I'd play frankie.

| I seem to recall eddie and stevo and co mentioning that leeds had a few injuries and that the youngster were taking their opportunity well. So should Agar be giving a chance to our young centres????

I don`t think Bailey or Singleton will make the 17. Singleton could be out for another week and Bailey will be scared of getting hit by Poore
How far off is Delaney from making a comeback?

That back line is painful to look at. If Collis is still out and clearly Sykes not playing we are in for a tough night.
Saying that, I fancy us against the forwards. We can make ground there and give our guys a chance.
If Smith is on the front foot and Burrow on the back foot it could be the difference.

He'll be used to that mafia treatment, with his family connections.
Anyone know where I can find a horses head? Preferably not connected to a horse, I don't want to have to do the messy bit.

| Going to be interesting who gets the nod for number 6.
I think if Mr T is fit to play at 13 then it could be Washbrooke.
If not then could be Kaye or goulding.
Either way I think our forwards will have a big say in how the result ends up for us.

I'd rather Washbrook didnt get the shout at 6. The ball either dies with him or he supplies an awful pass. He's not exactly an evasive runner either. Take a leaf out of Leeds' book and give an opportunity to a yougster.

| Think Liam Kay could be a good call, he was a very talented junior, think he played for England age groups and many clubs were after him as a 16 year old. He signed on a very good contract for Bradford. He is a very skillfull player and is playing well for Donny. He has played wing, fullback, centre and standoff for Donny. He was mom playing at 6 on Sunday. In a perfect world it would be great to say to him he can have the 6 shirt to the end of the season, until Sykes gets back. We could then find out if he is ready. Big boots to fill for the lad and a masiive call for the coach who will not be able to do right for doing wrong. If he plays the steady but uninspiring Washbook he will get slated by some for been to negative, if he plays a plays a youngster like Kay or Goulding and they make a few mistakes he will get slated by some for putting them in to early. One thing we will need in our backline against Leeds is pace so I would not go for Washbrook at 6. I could be tempted to play Mathers at 6 and keep Lee smith in the centres especially if Collis is injured, I would them play Cowling in the centre. I do not think we are allowed to recall Mellars. I would then play Lymn at full back to give us a bit of speed.

| Well if Sykes, Collis and Lyne are all injured and Mellars cannot be recalled then I would have to go with :-
Mathers, Fox, Cowling, Smith, Kay, Smith.
Hope we can recall Cowling and Kay. We are going to need pace against the Leeds backline so Washbrook , Mariano and Walshaw would be option D players.

| If Collis has a 50-50 chance of playing I think I'd hold him back for the following week. Unless he is honestly fit we'd be better saving him.

| Regardless of who lines up for us, there are other questions to be asked:
How many times will Robbie Burrow go on a 'scampering' run?
Will Jamie Peacock a) play the ball properly at least once or b) run onto a ball that isn't forward?
At what point will Ryan Bailey make pantomime efforts to get into a fight, whilst ensuring that there are at least 3 Leeds players on hand to 'hold him back?'
I'll be sunning myself in Lanzarote, so someone needs to keep an eye out.
