| I'll be singing a different tune tomorrow morning, after paying £26.00 to watch us beat KR 22-8 tonight. I'm sure of it...

| Quote ="Trojan Horse"I think the new stand and redevelopment of north stand is a great opportunity to re-launch Trinity.
It’s clear that there’s plenty of opportunity in the marketing, match day and events department.
Even getting local bands playing pre match and half time would dramatically improve the match day experience.
Heck, get some fire breathers and entertainers in too for short appearances etc (but extreme but options are endless). Some would be relatively low cost.
Certainly I think we need a clear events program and match day experience to start and run alongside the opening of the new stand.
This would certainly help generate the interest and atmosphere. It wouldn’t be instant but there would be reward for sure.
It doesn’t need to be a grand scale but we need some focus on it certainly back end of the season.'"

| There's an awful lot of competition out there as well for what is an ever decreasing amount of peoples disposable income due to the cost of living increases. Many years without any success has diminished the customer pool we are fishing in, most of Wakefield's residents have zero interest in the rugby club or even the game itself these days. Of those remaining 'floating' fans who might be tempted value for money is paramount. A game is about an hour and a half of entertainment, around the same as watching a film. Would you and your better half spend £52 to go to the cinema, especially when (given our record) there's a much better than evens chance you are going to be disappointed? And that's without mentioning our below par facilities. I know i wouldn't and i'd wager neither would many others. On field success is far & away the best hope of increasing the footfall but even then if the price is too high then it will be prohibitive, especially right now. But if we cut prices and it doesn't lead to an increase then we lose out and have even less chance of a successful team so it's a fine balancing act. Personally i think we have priced ourselves a little too highly, we've done nothing to justify charging some of the highest prices in the league. But i understand why we do. It will be interesting to see how a new CEO will go about it.

I'm thinking fliers is pretty open.
It's not like they are keeping it a secret.

Very open, the issue is it isn't 1999 anymore.

| Not knocking the club in any way ,the club needs to advertise these things to the wider public it might have put a few more on the gate .at the moment the club needs to get the gates up.

| Plenty of pubs in town selling beer at £2-ish a pint, dependant on time/day,and £26 buys a whole lot of that,so the product we sell needs to be spot-on.The new facilities should make a start for attracting bigger crowds, having a winning team will obviously make a big difference, advertising is a must and pre-match entertainment could,as someone has said, make a difference. But the Holy Grail that would get the masses interested again, for a while anyway, would be to get to Wembley,or the very least, a semi final.Lets face it,Trinity,as a brand, are way down the pecking order, lets give them something to be proud of again! Starting today preferably.

| People keep going on about how the new facilities will help crowds increase but I am not convinced. I am sure there will be a corporate increase which is great as corporate customers generate far more revenue than your average fan but interms of a fan increase people might come once to have a look but if the product on the pitch is poor which it probably will be then are they likely to return just because of 1 nice stand????

The nice stand and all the other stuff will bring them in, I am confident of that. However there is only one way to keep them coming back, it's a team playing top opposition, giving it a right go and winning more than they lose

| A strange team selection playing the young lad at fullback moving Kaye back to hooker and then have two others, one on the bench and one the 18th man. I thought Kaye had done well at fullback so why change.

| 9 players injured from our 17.
This will be a very good win if we can pull it off.
A lot made that KR missing 4 players before this game.
Come on lads!

| Kick in the teeth for Bowes, thought he was nailed on for one of the hooking roles. Still let's see how things go.

The lads been good for us when he’s played and we just sideline him for another clubs youth prospect

| Applegarth needs to go. No point building a new stand if there’s going to be hardly one in it, which is a big possibility in the championship.

| Feeling sorry for Butterworth on his debut. Can’t help but feel that Kay should have remained at full back with Bowes starting at 9 and Forber off the bench….
