Almost 1500 comments in support of the application for planning now, that’s a terrific response, I just cannot see WMDC going against that level of support in the current economic climate, short term jobs and boost to economy with long term prospects of further jobs and economic positives let alone the benefit to the community with activities that will help address issues such as childhood obesity

The ground we have is big enough, we haven't reached capacity in years and it would cost the club to build a bigger ground when we can't even fill the small one we have now. Plus our ground is few left of the classic grounds that we saw decades ago, and it would be a real shame to see that charm go.
