Really pleased for Willie when he played for us he always gave 100% and every time I have spoken to him or watched him he has always been the same, he is a top man and I really hope his leadership shines through because as a player he left everything on the pitch everygame. Good luck Willie.

Much as I think you’re guessing that’s not a bad choice. I know Cummins is well respected as a coach even though his stints as head coach were unsuccessful. I can see the logic.

Just be careful, a lot of people are well respected but, can they he do the job, I am happy if he makes a good partnership with Willie.

Why would they be well respected and not be able to do a job as assistant?
I'm sure Willie is capable of judging that.

I would say whenever I have heard him summarise one of our games on the radio he always appears to be quite negative about the club.

I have an irrational dislike of Francis Cummings, stemming back from his playing days at Leeds. Came across as a bit of a whinger when head coach too. Still, Poching knows him, I don't, and if he wants him that's all that matters.

It's nothing to do with me, if it happens it's down to WP. If WP thinks he's the man for the job then that's his choice.

Still, if you want I'll e-mail the club and ask them to sign up Matt Hancock, I don't believe anyone respects him.

His coaching record doesn't back that up. Similar to Dennis Betts, I find negative coaches generally instill that within the team and its contagious.

It's a fair point......perhaps coaching has moved on and it's all about 'positive energy.....'

Maybe it's a bit of yin and yang, a good cop bad cop thing. Doesn't always pay for everyone to think the same way. I'm only speculating as I don't know the bloke and I don't know if we are employing him.
