Massive well done to the club for this signing. Ambitious, quality signing who can really play. My optimism level just shot through the roof as I know we have a decent squad and we're just missing the kind of player who can unleash the undoubted pace we have - we now have that player! Awesome stuff from all involved. I fancied him coming when it was firsts rumored but when Blake Austin got injured at Canberra and Williams got some game time. I watched a couple of games on TV and he played well for them and thus didn't think Canberra would want to release him, but what a great surprise.

What I'm happiest about is that he played at Catalan, which means he knows exactly what he is getting, because we have struggled sometimes with Aussies who find the rather earthy surroundings a bit of a culture shock. Shaping up nicely!

I think he will be one of the best players in next seasons superleague. if so, lets hope he will want to stay with us and his one year deal be extended before other "bigger" clubs try to poach him from us.

As much as I would love him to stay beyond this year, I cant help but think his move to us may be just a stepping stone for another nrl side or 'bigger' super league side. Hopefully I'm proven wrong but I have my doubts.

if him and Miller are striking a good partnership, then I would be looking at extending both their deals, as I think Miller is out of contract et the end of next season.

| yeah I think that also, be interesting to see Williams kicking game. As apart from goal kicking with finn, our territorial kicking was awful this season, one 40/20 all year and think that was a fluke from miller.

Our long range kicking has been abysmal. I think Sykes was the last halfback who managed not to kick the ball down the throat of the oppositions fullback. |

| Agreed all kicks seem to go straight down the returning players neck then they constantly get quick returns, little stuff that doesn't really define game as such but should be improved on in order to give as better chance of competing next year.

I know it is only the reserve comp but Williams won player of the season in it. This shows what an exciting talent he is and a top bloke. . If you haven't already, get your money out and buy a season ticket because he is going to be worth watching if he playslike this. I MC Chester and Kear deserve backing for this signing. It is what we have been asking for a quality half to get the team round.. I was a big Tim Smith fan when he was on form.
